I put in an order about a half an hour ago for one. Keeping my fingers crossed. I'll keep you guys posted on if I get any kind of shipping notification or not. It is well worth the shot. Especially for the price. You can't go wrong.

For me, it feels like I am betting with house money when I find a deal like this. No big loss if it doesn't pan out, but it would be nice if it does.

The prices of the items when they do these blow outs is outrageous.... I picked up a Sam, Frodo and Bespin Luke a couple months back for next to nothing.

It's one of the reasons why I'm waiting patiently. I'm always one to build my collection around good deals. I try to avoid paying full price on just about anything (there are a few exceptions).

Wouldn't surprise me if they did.... So far, aside from SE, everything can be had much less than retail at one time or another.
Yeah, if they cancel my order I won't even think twice about it.

My thoughts exactly!!
I did the same with Sam & Frodo. Always regretting getting rid of them a while back. I was happy to get these guys back for my collection with that sale in particular. Dunno why I passed on Bespin Luke at the time.

i ended up getting Stormshadow from some anime toy site for like $70...

Snake Eyes is the only non-exclusive Joe release I've seen where the value actually increased since release. Not that that means too much, but it does suggest that demand isn't much higher than supply.

I stopped buying direct from Sideshow (with a few exceptions) because my LCS would get the same SSC items for cost (minus shipping costs). There have been a few times where I've placed a preorder and then I'd find out that my LCS has the same item on order. They don't order everything though. I just miss the days where they would mark down some of their SSC stock that had been sitting for too long. I remembered scoring a Hellboy PF for $129, Brosnan Bond PF for $99, Van Helsing PF for $59. Sadly those days are long over...

That's why I quit buying non exclusive HT from Sideshow, it all drops.

The only thing I have ordered through them ATM is the Emperor EX.... everything else is POd through other retailers..... I even ended up having to cancel KOTCS Indy through SS and it ended up saving me around 25 bucks because of it... SS: 90+tx+shipping would be around 110.... Monkey Depot was 79+no tax+7 shipping: 86 bucks...
