Re: Collection Stash: Open Beta (3 Spots Left)

Cool! :rock :duff

It might be some extra work, but in the end it'll pay off I think. Otherwise there might also be people adding their Jack Sparrows to the Depp license while others add them to the POTC license. This will be more clear I think :)

Yea definitely! Good Call.

Any DC Direct and Kotobukiya experts?

Hi, everyone. I was just added to the list of users for the beta.
So, just post here to put in a request for a Brand/License to be added?
I was going to try to add my Lord of Darkness PF and LSB, but I see that the "Legend" license still needs to be added to the list.

Welcome Jedah! :wave

Absolutely right.

A "Johnny Depp" and a "tim Burton" tag will be more than enough.

(BTW I forgot to add the "Hot Toys" one, sorry)

Not an expert but what would you like to know? :D

I am starting to look at these two next to add, although I briefly looked at DC Direct and that one is going to take a little longer to organize. I am looking for some high level collectible type, license and series break downs for both of these companies. I found some stuff on the interwebs but if anyone has any expert knowledge themselves that would be most excellent.

Re: Collection Stash: Open Beta (2 Spots Left)

Well, I know DC Direct release busts in several scales: minibusts (such as those in the Women of the DC Universe line) and 1:2 scale, mainly, statues in several scales also: from 1:7-1:8 (such as the Cover Girls or the Batman B&W line), 1:4 pieces called Museum Quality Statues, prop replicas, dioramas,...the truth is that they have a wide variety of products.

Koto on the other hand...

:D Nah, I really know nothing about koto. But I think their latest line of statues (X-men Danger sessions) was not as succesful as expected. They are better known for their bishoujo line of Marvel female characters I think (which I wouldn't consider High-end collectibles TBH)

Mwuahaha.

I will get to some approvals tonight.

I started coding up some stuff, fixing a few things. I also started working on updating the search component to make way for the new filter stuff I am gonna roll out in the coming weeks.

Re: Collection Stash: Open Beta (2 Spots Left)

How do you find the release year for a collectible?

Are there detailed descriptions for all of the "Condition" options?
To elaborate: My Cyclops PF - I have the original box and the statue is perfect, but there are some paint scuffs not visible on the interchangeable parts (e.g. at the base of the neck where it plugs into the socket). I would consider it only near mint, but it seems a bit subjective. Maybe it's mint and complete? They appear to be in a random order as well. What's better; good or fine?
Also, what about my Hot Toys Machiko figure. I've modified her, so what should she be listed as?

I don't remember when I bought my items that I'm adding to my stash. However, if I did some digging, I could find that information. I noticed, though, that I cannot edit that option once I submit an item to my stash.

Is SOTA Toys going to be added to the manufacturer list? I've got my Shin Akuma statue that I wanted to submit.

Need to add Corner Store Comics and GoHastings to the "Where did you purchase the collectible?" section.

Is there a way to edit tags? I see that the Alien Diorama has only the tag of "diorama". I tried to see if I could add more, but I cannot seem to figure out how.

... I sorta just jumped right in, didn't I? Sorry if any of these questions have already been covered.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

Added:

Lord of Darkness PF and the exclusive
*edit* Oops, looking around, the exclusives are considered variants. So, that needs to be added to my submission of the LoD PF Ex.

Magneto Comiquette Exclusive variant
Upon inspection, the regular is listed as 1:6 scale instead of 1:5. Both need to be changed to the proper 1:5. I submitted as such for the regular.

Thanos and Mistress Death Diorama
Will add the exclusive variant once the regular is approved.

Alien 3 Diorama

--------------------------------------------------------

Okay, I think that I'm done for the day. I think I edited this post about five thousand times. I even had another post below this one that I then combined into this one. I guess I'm glad that no one else is posting right now...

On Sideshows site under the summary box it will say (c) 2011 MARVEL or (c) 2009 Marvel so just use that year.

Re: Collection Stash: Open Beta (2 Spots Left)

What if there isn't a page for the item anymore?
