Re: Collection Stash: Closed Beta

Looking at all the stuff that's already been added and that waiting to be approved, i think we added most of Sideshows site because i'm struggling to find new stuff to add. :lol

So good work guys. :hi5:

I've felt the same way for a couple of weeks now. Maybe we could/should add the Electric Tiki brand? :lol

We need something new to add that's for sure. The problem will come when we start adding stuff that SSC don't sell, so we can't get the Product Code & Product UPC. Will we just leave them blank Tyler?

I know. :slap :lol

Re: Collection Stash: Closed Beta

Pop Culture Shock would be good to add as well.

Oh yeah I guess this would be one of the easiest to add. They only make busts and PF-type statues (anything else?) and we can find them on Sideshow's site.

They have 39 products that we could add. I was just looking at the Gentle Giant site and we'd be missing codes and most of the items don't even have size or weight, so not sure how Tyler would feel about that info been missing?

Re: Collection Stash: Closed Beta

Hey guys, sorry I have been away for the past couple days. I will be back at approvals today and I am going to work on the image thumb nail sizing issue today. I think I have some ideas I am going to try out.

Sorry, I haven't had a ton. Since we have so many people I'm kind of waiting for new LOTR maquettes to be announced or PF. I'll add those as they come out.

No worries man, any little bit helps. Hopefully I will have some future enhancements that are up your alley you can help me test.

Tyler i just added these but JosephCPR already has them pending, i forgot to check here first. :slap :lol

-'The Duel of Light and Fire' - Gandalf vs. Balrog diorama
-'Battle Above the Black Gate' - Fell Beast VS Eagle diorama
'The Treachery of Saruman' - Gandalf VS Saruman diorama
-'The Wall of Helm's Deep ' - Aragorn VS Uruk-Hai
-Battle of the Last Alliance - Sauron vs The Numenorean Army
-'The Crack of Doom' - Frodo and Gollum

I definitely think it is time for some new Manufacturers.

I know DC Direct is a popular one, I could probably easily add Pop Culture Shock and Elektric Tiki.

I am fine with leaving that stuff blank if it is difficult to gather. I think what is more important is getting the item on there. Although I have found that doing google searches like "<product name> + <product manufacturer> + upc", usually comes up with a webpage that will contain the upc of the product.

The Product Code is usually not as necessary because it is really a manufacturer specific code that has no meaning outside of that manufacturer. If I had to choose between which one I wanted the most, it would be the UPC.

This is the stuff i have pending guys..

That's good to know. I'm looking forward to adding stuff from the new manufacturers. :rock

Re: Collection Stash: Closed Beta

I just added the following Cinemaquette statues:

Bruce Lee
The Godfather
Indiana Jones
Jack Sparrow
Aragorn
Superman (Pic I posted didn't show up) :dunno
Darth Vader (No Star Wars License listed so I left it with Alien)

Several of their maquettes don't have much information to go on if any at all.

Tyler, I'm ready for some DCD stuff! :yess:

Re: Collection Stash: Closed Beta

Ok so for DC Direct. I am going to base a lot of my information off this page:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_DC_Direct_action_figures

What I am thinking is.

1 License/Brand = DC Comics

Then the series is where it is going to get a little crazy.

Let's do a test cases.

TC1:
https://www.dccomics.com/dcdirect/?dcd=19598&lst=new&cat=STATUES

Manufacturer: DC Direct
License: DC Comics
Type: Statue
Series Level 1: Cover Girls of DC

TC2:
https://www.dccomics.com/dcdirect/?dcd=18243&lst=new&cat=STATUES

Manufacturer: DC Direct
License: DC Comics
Type: Bust
Series Level 1: WOMEN OF THE DC UNIVERSE
Series Level 2: SERIES 3

TC3:
https://www.dccomics.com/dcdirect/?dcd=20632&lst=new&cat=ACTION+FIGURES

Manufacturer: DC Direct
License: DC Comics
Type: Action Figure
Series Level 1: JUSTICE LEAGUE
Series Level 2: HEROES & FOES
Series Level 3: SERIES 1

Thoughts on this so far?

Re: Collection Stash: Closed Beta

Hmmm...looks good to me so far, Tyler.

It may have to be tweaked later when peeps start entering data.

Yea, I probably won't add all series right away but add them as people want to add more stuff. There a A LOT of DC Direct series.

I am really just trying to see if that logic makes sense with the series, I think it does.
