They didn't offensively, but never really have looked good offensively.

But you can't say their defense and special teams didn't look good.

Offense puts butts in seats, but defense wins championships.:lol

I would say three really stupid mistakes made them looks a lot better. Sorry they didn't play as well as people want to believe but it was an sec team so people will say it's that LSU caused all this more then some bad decisions caused them. I bet a lot of people believe Georgia's loss will more there fault then Boise's good play.

Gilbert got our team to a win yesterday. I wont complain because I do like winning. I just hope it wasn't only because Rice wasn't doing so well. I would like to hope that Gilbert is going to offer our team a lot more this year than last. Time to find out...

Hey, an LSU receiver finally held onto the ball! :rock

-edit: I just saw what happened with Notre Dame today. LOL at their stupidly unwarranted pre-season ranking :lol I guess your historical reputation goes a good ways with those things-

The Golden Domers lost their luster after the Holtz championship in 1988. Every year their fans think national title time. :lol

LSU's defense looked great as always. Oregon turned the ball over way too many times. FSU and the OU game looks like it's gonna be a good one in a few weeks. Auburn needed a miracle to beat Utah St. They might be worse than my Dawgs.

Josh, looks like your Mizzu has a tough game at Arizona State on Friday. It's on ESPN so I'll watch it. Gotta love those late night 10:30 PM CST starts.

Hopefully my Golden Goofers have a walkover against New Mexico State. We've lost games like this before. :lol

Yeah, its gonna be a nice early season test. I like our chances but we did get pretty banged up in the first game. A lot will depend if Franklain can play well enough. Hopefully it will be worth staying up late.

I would think thats a game they should win easy enough.

10:30? It's a 7:30 local time game. So that would be 8:30 Cst and 9:30 cdt.

My Goofs should win but........we lost to something called South Dakota and Northern Illinois at home last year. :lol :(

Yeah, my mistake. I was looking at east coast times. It's 9:30 PM my time.

I don't think it will be a easy win. ASU is a much better team than Miami of Where Ever.

I will be in the stands watching my Cowboys dismantle Arizona like they did in the Alamo Bowl. :rock :rock
