You know it's slim pickings in the Top 25 tomorrow when the ABC prime time game is Wisconsin vs. Nebraska. :lol

Goofs Update

It's the first time I've been nervous before a Goofs game since 2008. They play at a bad Iowa team which is coming off an awful loss at home to Central Michigan.

There are folks around here calling this game a program changer if the Goofs win. I don't buy it. I would need to see victories at Iowa and home to Northwestern. Then the program changer would be a win at Wisconsin.

I was hoping for a 6-6 season but 8-4 isn't a reach the way the defense is playing and an easy schedule. 8-4 would be a shock around these parts.

NC State's wide receiver gets the ball stripped away right at the 2 yard line. No fumble. The hurricanes simply pulled the ball out of his hands and ran the other way. :rotfl

FINAL
Minnesota..13
Iowa.........31

Positives:
-NOTHING

Negatives:
1. Down 24-0 in the middle of the 2nd qtr. Apparently the Goofs didn't realize game time was 11 am cst.
2. I didn't expect they'd win this game but you can't have showings like this against a bad team if you're trying to be a relevent program. Just can't emphasize what a disappointment this game was.
3. The Goofs play a 5-0 Northwestern team next week and if they don't win, it could turn ugly for the season.

Somebody please tell Nebraska to burn those red jerseys and smash those black helmets... they look terrible.

College game day, undefeated UGA at South Carolina, night game and the winner takes a big lead in the SEC East. Huge game to say the least.
