The pose looks flat footed so I'm guessing X base as well. A big boooo for me because I like environment bases better.

I must admit when I first saw this on the website I wasn't too thrilled the way fabric looked. The sculpt looks like it's fantastic though as far as I can tell.

If this does indeed have the x style base, this statue as much as i have high hopes for it is going to be truly without detail, dont get me wrong i love colossus but there may not be much going on with this one... between the fabric the simple style of the sculpt and the base.

All the museum poses PFs have the X base. It would be logic that this trend will continue.

Couldn't agree more, considering how long i have been waiting for this one, It doesnt really seem like they put much effort into this, everyone of those pictures posted looks high end, where this pf so far really is extremly vanilla.

I'm really digging the way the fabric is looking on this PF. I'm sure will be able to tell all the muscle definition when we see the full reveal. It's not going to look like the fully sculpted Colossus statues, but that's to be expected with the PF.

Though I don't have strong opinions one way or the other on the PF vs. fully sculpted debate in general, more muscle definition would be better since it was almost always shown in the comics and is a key part of that character's look.

Your assesment of the base even though based on speculations that Colossus will indeed be on the "X" base might have some truth to it.
I fail to see as how you can say that it's such a "simple style of sculpt" when we've only seen ONE upper body picture & not even the WHOLE upper body? What "style" of sculpt would you suggest?

Or are you talking about the pose rather?
I personally don't see anything wrong or "simple" with the sculpt, looks like the Colossus on the comic books (with the exception of the fabric).

Then again there is a limit to what it can do too, I remember getting so many emails for Sabretooth PF.
