Did Colossus ever went against Maggie? The thoughts of some alternative Claw man vs Maggie just got me thinking.

I agree; Thomas it does blow it right out of the Water, but they won't scrap a money maker, the Purist's would never let that happen that said, I see where you are coming from, and the price sounds a little low, I feel it will be a bit higher because of the Size it should be, like the Destroyer.

Yes, but SS said they were doing the Jim Lee era costumes as PF's which is why I called it that.

True, you are correct. As far as I can remember during his era Jim Lee didn't design the major costumes for:
Colossus
Wolverine
Archangel
Iceman
Beast
Bishop
They all were designed before Jim Lee, except Bishop. But I see what you're saying. I do get a lil irked when people "Jim Lee" everything that isn't really Jim Lee (Joker PF...), but Lee was the main artist for several years on UXM and X-Men so people usually think he deigned everything. Plus, he did redesign most of their costumes at some point or another.

Anyway, am I the only 1 really happy this statue is standing straight up? Hulk, Scar, Abomination, Man Thing, Thing...the big guys in 1/4 tend to be hunched over except Ultron and Thor. I know Colossus shouldn't be as tall as some of those guys, but I like that we'll really see his height over his teammates. I hope if the EX is a head it's looking forward though.

True, I my Hulk PFs at eye level atm he does look good like that to me (altho I've seen some nice displays of him on top shelves.)

Thor PF is a problem, you can see his face from a low shelf but not the full majesty of his height, but then when you place him at eye level or higher you get to see more detail in his base, sculpted cloak and body but can't see his face as well anymore. Both displays have their merits. :x

If I decide to keep with the X-men display, Colossus will be displayed face on with the rest of the X-men so that may be a problem. Will be interesting to see the final look, maybe he'll have a switch out head looking a different direction (that will challenging to pull off.)

Well, at least there are no lines on his face, that already is an upside.

I agree, love the 1/4 scaled statues, but the 1/5th will always have a place in my collection.

I'll still have to see the full reveal before judging this. I am being VERY cautious how I spend my NRD now. I am going to be super picky for now on and that goes for characters that I want the most like Apocalypse and Juggernaut. I can't just like the piece...I have to absolutely love it.

I have read alot about the pose and the Ex question, but what about the base, I just hope the base for Colossus PF is a Red X for more of a Museum look and would match with Gambit, Rogue, Ms.Marvel.
