Hopefully they don't screw up brown Wolverine too!

The use of fabric on these pieces have been hit or miss. Sabretooth, Wolverine, and Colossus were misses IMO. I think all 3 of those pieces could have looked great as fully sculpted pieces. For me, the fabric takes away from those statues in particular.

Fabric still makes it look like a mego doll. Hands are still too small and the head position is still akward for my tastes. This one turned out just like the sneak pics. Didn't care for it then either. Gambit PF is still the standard for this line. It's too bad the other pieces couldn't live up to it.

Gambit is still the best but I think this one is fantastic. I think it definitely restores my faith in the xmen line.

WOW, this thing is Impressive. It's large, heavy and imposing. The colors are great, the paint is awesome and the fabric works.

The belt is not attached to the fabric. I think he is fully sculpted under the fabric and I think it can be removed. As near as I can tell, it's one piece, but the shorts should stay up without the top. I'm not going to mess with it, cause I think it looks great as it is.

The base is nicely painted with a piano black, nice glossy black and red. Looks and feels classy.

Bottom line, any Colossus fan will be plenty happy with this piece.

Yeah I don't like fabric either at least the fabric they're using here it just looks cheap. I'm going to have a professional sew me a leather outfit for Colossus and hell look like the ____! Also I love the way the brown leather jackets turned out on Cyclops and Rogue! Although Rogue is crap altogether.

Can the fabric of the costume be moved so as to expose the shoulder area?

It wouldn't look right, and no, the fabric is pulled entirely too tight.

Amazing statue.... Wish id have any interest in the X-Men.This and the Gambit one are the 2 best PF of X-Men that Sideshow has done.

That's easily fixed with some custom work. That's why I can't wait to see the changes talented members here make to him. The first Colossus grail will be a PF with an awesome resculpted chest.

Luckily the face sculpt is phenomenal and having the switch out head is great.

Man everyone is really tearing all the xmen pfs apart on here. Everyone is nitpicking so hard because of the smallest details. one person rips on something and everyone jumps on the band wagon. Look at what we were collecting 10 years ago compared to today! So stop your whining. They are art. Enjoy them and stop being so negative. Yes gambit is one of the best but people still complain about his teeth. People just need to find something. keep most of your complaints to reasons like why the paint on my sabertooth is flaking off or why psylocke came with a chip on her thigh. We all have an opinion to share and thats awesome thats why I read the forum but jeez with the nitpicking... Oh yeah and someone said before that they ruined sabertooth and wolvs with the pajama look, just my opinion is you must be on crack cause they both look boss on my shelves. Thats all, im out!

So long as your happy with the pieces you own, what does it matter what anyone else thinks about them?

I'm also one of the peeps who think Wolvie and Sabretooth look like they are ready to turn in for the night. The jammies look horrible IMHO. But, so what? If you love them, that's all that matters. There are too many different types of people and personalities here for all of us to like the same stuff all the time. It's OK to have different views on the pieces we collect.

The comments made hereon are the reason I cannot abide by others or useless when it comes to what I like and dislike, I make my own decisions and collect what I want and what one deems the Final word on something is shallow and self absorbed, it is there opinion and nothing more, when you start buying statues for me then your input will be taken under advisement and thats not guaranteed.
