I'm willing to bet that armored figures are well into production and these are just easy 'filler' for completists and army-builders. I also think this is a bad move on SS's part and hope they don't shove too much more of this 'filler' at us before giving us a proper Vader, Stormtrooper, etc.

Well, they said in the discussion after SDCC that the next Sith wouldn't be for a few other figures, so this makes two figures (sort of) so I think that the next figure announced should be Sith, and it should be Vader I think.

I'm not trying to be negative, but I just really feel that this announcement SUCKS! I mean, devoting 3 valuable figure slots to Endor Rebel Troopers that have about 42 seconds of screen time combined in ROTJ just makes zero sense to me. I know some people are happy about this release, but I'm not an "army builder" so these figures are absolutely useless to me. Would it have killed them to give us a villain after so many heroes and Jedi in a row?

There is clearly no real rhyme or reason to some of these announcements now. It's almost as if SSC has a huge wall in their new offices with pics of all of the SW characters* and are throwing darts to choose which to make next.

*Of course, this wall includes no armored or female characters.

Well, why is this any different than Kit or Plo who had hardly anytime or any other Jedi not named Mace, Anakin, Obi-Wan, Yoda, and Luke. If you think that these three will keep others from being made I got some ocean front propterty in Arizone for sale.
