What Austin group?

My sister lives in Pflugerville, so it's not hard to come up depending on what weekend plans my wife comes up with on our social calendar.

A bunch of us Sideshow collectors in and around Austin have been meeting every month or two for several years... since 2004 or 2005 I think. It started as mostly LOTR-centric, but several of us collect lots of other stuff... Marvel, Star Wars, Monsters, 1/6th, etc. Lately, we've been meeting over in Cedar Park, so you wouldn't be far at all! We have a "core" group of six of us that make most every meeting, and a couple of new ones that are just starting to come, and a couple of members that don't get to make it very often any more. Adam (the Shadow King formerly known as DSC) was the ring-leader and sort of started the group from some of his local patrons.

We have an Austin group that meets occasionally and we are scheduled to meet March 20th.
