I ordered my two. I've wanted a decent Imp Officer for a while.

I am disappointed that this is a Sideshow Website exclusive only. I would have ordered a case for myself to try dyeing the uniforms green, or even gray like the scanner techs wore.

Sure, a Vader would have been nice, as would Stormtroopers or droids or a Tarkin or some other main character. But I'll take this for now.

I really don't see it as a bad announcement seeing as how we got ol' ben coming and bespin luke and all.If we had nothing and then this yeah i'd be pissed.But 60$??? Not for this guy,he will be in the bargain bin in 9 mos. trust me.

The 1/6 market itself is ridiculously overpriced but Sideshow is the least overpriced of the overpriced.

I don't get it... why do some people demand that every announcement be special? Is there something wrong with a normal non special announcement?

I don't think every announcement has to be the second coming, but if an announcement isn't special in *some* way, you sort of have to wonder whether it's worth doing in the first place. Put another way, would anyone be upset if SS never made a Praji figure?

Yeah, imperial officers of some kind at some time, but before all the stuff that people are clamoring for?

EDIT: That said, I would have ordered this if it actually looked like the actor, but it doesn't. Maybe I'll get it if it goes on clearance.

I actually wanted officers soon as they made the Endor Strike Team, and Im not really all that concerned about how soon we get Vader. But maybe Im just odd. There's more to Star Wars than Vader, Fett, Stormies and armor. If anything Id say the more glaring omission at this point are the droids.

It makes no sense to make all the so-called "important" figures before the background guys. If you want a wide range of characters then there has to be a mix in the releases. I think this guy is cool and a must have to round out the SW universe, just as everyone will want all the clone commanders even though they weren't significant characters.

And I like how they did both a cloth and a plastic cap to stop the complaints before they start - but they should know by now that no matter how many complaints are stymied, the pessimists will always find something.

I just noticed that this guy is the same price as an Endor Trooper!
For a figure that comes with much less, he's overpriced imho.

I think he looks great and I ordered one.
I then cancelled it about 5 minutes later.


It really is a great looking figure. But there is no way I could justify $67 for that figure. If he had some troops to order about, then I could probably go for it. But as it is now... I think I'll have to pass.

Hopefully he goes on the gift card eligibility list!

This is exactly what SS is counting on when they release these kinds of characters before they release the ones people really want.

Yes, that's the brilliant strategy that kept the Buffy line going strong. Although Praji makes some of the questionable character selections in that line seem like solid gold by comparison.

I got 2, i was really hoping sideshow would make some imperial officiers soon and my favorite coloured imperial offcier black.
I cant see anything i dont like. This is the "no lifeforms were abroad" guy.

There is no reason to purchase this thing when everyone knows Sideshow will be giving these away in just a few months' time.

Look at it this way: At least we know what one of the Spooktacular 2008 Freebies will be.
