I'm thinking along the lines of something that would get the more casual SW collector excited. There are 60 people viewing the SW forum here at SSF. Yes, most of them know who Commander Praji is. How many people who are fans of SW will see this figure and go, "Wow, I gotta get that Commander Praji figure - he is really cool." Same goes for just about every figure they've done, with a few exceptions - maybe Jabba and Darth Maul). Obviously the line needs energizing when the after-market value of every figure is way below retail. The supply far exceeds the demand. The line is not growing - the opposite is in fact happening.

Also, I don't think that is Commander Praji (I didn't know his name) but that is an imperial officer. Which is a design I like and reminds me of the old Kenner figure, so I have a couple of connections to it.

Bespin Luke is okay. Old Ben - no. Palpatine 2-pack - HELL no. Old men figures = not very exciting IMO.

Actually, the better prediction would be...

With this figure costing $60 the eventual Troops, Chewie, Droids, etc will easily approach and/or cross the $100 mark and into import price territory.

I didn't know this character had a name, but once I saw the figure, I knew exactly who it was. A great addition to the line, and it changes things up a little, as we have a bunch of heavy hitters on the horizon (Bespin Luke, Leia, Old Ben, Palps...) I would guess we'll see another smaller character like this before we see the next big announcement.

And in trying to recreate my original Kenner collection in Sideshow form, this guy is a perfect fit!

Not sure if it's been mentioned yet but I noticed that in the pics, Praji has both a holstered "Pistol" and another pic shows him holding a Stormy "blaster", but only the pistol is mentioned in his listed items.

I feel for SSC, I really do. It seems they can rarely do anything right in most of your eyes. Can you imagine what it must be like for them.....okay we are releasing a new SW figure...SSC staff get in the bunkers now before the onslaught of missles begins!!!! With the lines I collect, sometimes SSC offers me somethng I really want, sometimes they don't...but I'm just happy that they are still cranking them out because a dead line is much worse than occassionally getting a not so popular character. just my .02 I will now get the hell out of the SW section for fear of any missles that might start coming my way.

I am disappointed that this is a Sideshow Website exclusive only. I would have ordered a case for myself to try dyeing the uniforms green, or even gray like the scanner techs wore.

You wouldn't want to dye Prajj's uniform grey for the scanner techs, they wore jumpsuits (pretty similar to the uniform of the AT-ST drivers).

I ordered two.

I also expect that this means we'll see other officers (like Tarkin or, gasp, maybe Thrawn) since their outfits are so similar, just different colors.
