:rotfl:rotfl:rotfl:rotfl:rotfl I feel for SSC, I really do. It seems they can rarely do anything right in most of your eyes. Can you imagine what it must be like for them.....okay we are releasing a new SW figure...SSC staff get in the bunkers now before the onslaught of missles begins!!!! With the lines I collect, sometimes SSC offers me somethng I really want, sometimes they don't...but I'm just happy that they are still cranking them out because a dead line is much worse than occassionally getting a not so popular character. just my .02 I will now get the hell out of the SW section for fear of any missles that might start coming my way.

Jen you are refering to getting nerd blanked on.

Thanks for the hearty welcome back, I feel like Kotter. Likely only hanging around a little today, and then checking sporadically until we close in two weeks. Having all my toys boxed up has me a very sad monkey...

I think this is a great choice, and the idea of a 12" blue snaggletooth is awesome! He would have to be tall, as Kenner made hime the wrong size!

I like getting some of these so-called "non-exciting" releases, because it shows me that Sideshow is committed to a Star Wars line with some serious legs. Now getting most of the fellowship already for LOTR, that has me worried!

Okay I gotta say this.

Complaining about Sideshow's releases is at least somewhat constructive. We've even seen it effect the actual product (Bespin Luke for example was significantly improved). So people showing concern about the lack of a certain kind of figure in the current line up makes sense. It also opens up conversation from fans (who buy the product) about what they're looking to buy. This in theory will have some impact on what's produced. Even if it has no impact on the product it's still fun to talk with others about things you like and things you don't.

Now all the people who jump on anything negative said about Sideshows product and constantly point out how no one is happy with anything made or complain about how much everyone is "*****ing"... that **** is NOT constructive. It it does is invite conflict, especially when it's often voiced in a very mocking tone. This isn't conversation, this is attacking people for having a conversation.

I realized that this is just *****ing about people *****ing about people *****ing, but I would hope it has some impact on those I feel bring unwarranted, unwanted, and unnecessary conflict to these forums.

OMG!!! I'm really getting out of here now. I totally GET constructive criticism and think that is good and some times it does have a positive effect on the end result.....but constant complaining about things such as price or why the hell did they do this character?? What's that gonna change.....mmmmmmmm let's see that would be NOTHING. You think SSC is gonna say, gee no one likes this figure, well let's take it back and give them Vader! The figures out so you either buy it or you don't. Ever hear of killing them with kindess?? It works!! It's nice to see people saying hey you know what this figures not for me, but I really hope we get to see a xxxxxx down the road. All this negativity is a downer.......and like I said, I feel sorry for SSC and what they have to deal with. Flame me all you want, because I'm leaving for good now. You people are BRUTAL!! :lol :lol I still love my SW loving Krusaders though!!! :D

Pass on this guy, without Vader to stand next to he is useless.:monkey4:monkey4:monkey4

Jen, complaints are what give a Star Wars Collector life. Without them, they are nothing.:lol:lol:lol

Definately not for me this one!

I thought they would have learnt, as there are more Endor Soliders still out there, then there were Trees on Endor.

Whilst I dont agree with it, I can understand peoples need for some of the obsure characters in this 12 inch line, but these nobody soliders are just rediculous.

As someone pointed out earlier, the fact that most, if not all figures can be found way below retail, suggests this line isn't as collectable as it could be. I really do fear for it now. Unless Sideshow comes clean regarding the availability of Armoured characters, people will start to give up on them.

Now, I know there many, me included, that only buy the figrues we like, but there are a great deal who follow the "must have everything or none at all" route, and its these collectors that Sideshow will drive away with releases like this.

They need to focus the collection more. I mean, we still have the Chess Table expansion set, and are still waiting to get something to expanded if from?!?!

I like the Praji figure if only for the costume. And <ahem> frankly I'm just as happy he DOESN'T exactly look like the actor... We're hearing the same old arguments when people don't like it, so here's the same old response to those who think it's lame: Don't buy it. :monkey3 And fear not! This will NOT be the last 12" SW figure that SS releases. I don't have to have any inside information to know THAT... :monkey1

Well, it'll be good to have an Imp Officer posed next to a manacled ANH Leia on display...

I thought a lot more of the customizers would weigh in with this one...lots of customizing possibilites with the Imp outfit and gear.

And he's on a standard body...boy, Vader is going to have to be really tall for this to look good...
