Commission Bruce 1/6 V2

I was asked by the purchaser of the first version fo the GOD Bruce to remove all the pics of that figure.

He plans to feature the figure on a Japanese website and magazine and promises to send me his pics to post when they are public.

For now - here are pics of V2 of the same headsculpt for the second GOD commission figure. I made some changes to the way I painted the head.

I'll post progress pics of this version here (this one will have the new hands I sculpted).

but his cheeks could be thinned out a bit and his hair a bit taller and not as wide.

Thanks, Sunohc. Those photos are at a low angle so his cheeks look wide. I need to get a better digi camera. lol

Hey, Sunohc -

That's a really nice repaint. I also have the Eric So figure (MIB). It's a pretty decent HS.

I like the discussion about the body proportions. Bruce was definitely "wirey". He had muscle tone, but wasn't muscular in the body builder sence.

So he looked skinny standing still or walking, but when he starts punching, kicking - he bulks up a bit (again - not body builder bulk).

So sculpting his body is a challenge.

I think the first body I made was still slightly too bulky - particularly in the legs.

I will have my second body done soon and the legs are more tapered towards the feet.

It was hilarious. I posted the pic and went to the bathroom. I come back out and there's Bruce bottomless on the table, and my gf is telling me to unpost the pic.

I thought it was somthing serious, but she just wanted to hem up the pant legs so that they look more like in the movie. lol

I'll repost new pics at the end of the weekend.

Okay. This is the final suit - fitted to the final body. The HS is final now, too.

The body has skinnier legs to be more accurate to Bruce's physique. The HS has a wider chin.

To anyone who is interested. I'm ready to mold and cast the HS for this figure. As like before - I will be making 12 resin copies - five for my own use, and the rest are up for grabs.

may I ask what kind of body is he pack'n under there?

Hey, Snakebeater -

The final body - which is in the pic directly above - he sports Art S Buck from the waist up, and a trimmed down set of Medicom legs from a headless RAH body I got (so I don't know which Medicom figure it was). The medicom body was missing feet, so I transplanted the feet and ankle connection from the Art over to the Medicom.

The overall body then got reshaped to get the right posture. On the GOD figure (which I'll have pics of in a week or so) - it's pretty much the same deal - except the legs on that one are the Art S Buck - shaved down to be shorter and skinnier.

BTW: Can you tell me specifically what bothers you about the HS? Is it the eyes? It's currently hollow - I glue in separate eyeball pieces when I do the final paint. So they look a little weird in the pics.

So far - I've only gotten good reviews on it - no straight out "no good" comments. So just curious.
