No loss at all. I don't dig dudes in spandex. I'll leave them to you! Go on Ski, adust the wardrobe on those dolls you own. I'll just wait until SS puts out a real statue of Cap.

What I'll enjoy most is when Computerfly nails the Cap PF conversion and shows everyone YET AGAIN that Comiquettes are > than PF's all day and every way!

The sweetest part will be when you have to admit it AGAIN like you did for this Spidey conversion!:D

say what you want about pf's............but the pf's are always the ones that sky rocket in price, there larger as well. Thats just the way it is

Really? Please name the last Marvel PF that skyrocketed in value. The Red Skull PF? Thing PF? Emma PF? Mystique PF? They all sell at or under retail. All you PF lovers keep hanging your hat on the Doom, Hulk, and Cap PF's. That's all you have. Wait until the Olivetti Hulk and Spidey comiquettes come out. A SS Doom comiquette is also being worked on. When the comiquettes of those characters come out, then we can compare.

The only comparisons we have now are Punisher, Mystique, Elektra, Wolverine, and Emma. Those comiquettes IMHO OWN their PF counterparts! I will admit that the Mystique PF ROCKS! I do consider it equal to the comiquette. I own it and will not sell it even though I own the comiquette. That is the ONLY PF where I think SS nailed the character. Otherwise, Comiquettes are the way to go. The details they have are amazing and are not lost by silly cloth or spandex.

Just look at how much more detail there is in the Spidey PF conversion. All of that was covered up by that gay blue spandex. You have the same problem with Cap, Hulk and Thor.

Go ahead Computerfly...show everyone how much better they would look as comiquettes!

oh my will the PF vs Com debate ever end......:monkey4 for me the conversion rocks, but is it realistic:confused: i don't think so since the only way that spidey could look like that in real life (i can't believe i'm saying that:banghead) is if he actually didn't wear anything and swung around all the time with body paint like the Blueman group

sooooo imo the detail of fly's conversion is second to none and would i buy it? well duh of course:D, but i'm still a believer in the PF line since it's a bit more realistic. (still sounds funny to say that about super heroes)

Maquettes would work best for the realistic look you are talking about. A Spidey maquette works as a PF. You had Toby swinging around in a realistic costume. Put that out as a PF. The movie Hulk would also work as a realistic PF. Then you have the upcoming Cap and Thor movies that would look great as realistic PF statues based off the realistic costumes worn in the movies.

Characters with comic accurate costumes look BEST as comiquettes. The Spidey conversion clearly shows this. The Spidey PF just looks better as a comiquette!:D

This is a very nice conversion well done!
You guys who think comiquettes are the shizzle have a point simply because some characters are suited to being comiquettes by their very design.
But until Sideshow get their ____ together with some consistent size - and by that I mean 1/4 scale - in the comiquette line the PF line will be my choice simply because SIZE MATTERS.
Comiquettes are 25% smaller than PF's as a rule, although the consistency of scale in comiquettes is all over the place too. The comiquette line should be used to represent characters not suited to the PF line and compliment each other.
At the moment this is not the case and I am passing on statues I like (Punisher, Mystique) because they are too short to fit in my Marvel collection.
I read somewhere Sideshow do not consider scale between PF and Comiquettes an issue, it is for me, and I'm not buying and don't want statues that have several inches in height difference.

That's why there's comiquette and PFs. Those who like comiquettes buy comiquettes. Those who prefer PFs buy Pfs. Those who like both can buy both ;)

It still bugs me that the Punisher comiquette is not 1/4 scale because that might be the only one I would ever own.

I like Comiquettes, Iron Man and Venom are awesome, and the upcoming Silver Surfer looks great because they are a decent size and work with my PF collection. But Comiquettes like Magneto and Wolverine have no interest for me. They are too small and whacked out scale wise even within the Comiquette line.
Why collect a line that is not even in scale with it's own statue range?
Comiquettes have Bullseye too...:lol

are you for real dude? You really think that fabric is harder to replicate than actually HAND SCULPTING the unfinished parts of the statue? LOL!!!

well, we've seen how the Hulk PF was recast and had the pants resculpted.

I think resculpting it would require effort but it would be a once off. However, getting the fabric and tailoring it for each and every recast would seem to take more effort to me :peace

What's the last Com that skyrocketed in value? :rotfl:rotfl:rotfl

:lecture

Dolls are gay, let it be known.

If you are in the Marvel Section you shouldnt be allowed to collect dolls IMO.

Anyone playing with dolls should be banned or just die.

too many doll lovers on this site.

Very nice job, Fly! :rock

That's an amazing talent you have. This version certainly holds its own in my opinion and that's coming from someone who is a big fan of the PF version.

well let me ask this, if a lot of ppl didnt prefer pfs, why did the wolvie pf PO sell out in a mere couple of minutes?, giving the SOOOO superior comi has already been released  The character itself is what drives the price up more than the format being made.

Btw-I dont prefer Marvel pfs, I'm just saying theres still a large demand for them, but if we get another stupid carved line Spidey, I'm gonna freak :horror Spiderman costume=no carved lines!

What's the last Com that skyrocketed in value? :rotfl:rotfl:rotfl

Punisher looks to be holding well. He at least is selling for more than retail. Which PF that has been released recently can say that about. Wait, I got one for you.......Emma PF!:rotfl:rotfl:rotfl
