maybe, but imo, the sculpt is way superior on the new Punisher and Elektra comi's than the pfs. If you put cloth on the new Punisher and Elektra, I bet they would still look better than the first releases if the first ones were comi's to begin with. I can tell you this though, if they carve stupid lines into the new Spidey comi, I'm not buying it. The only Hulk I will buy is a SS Planet Hulk, with leather material, that would be epic.

Yeah you are right, superior sculpts will also factor in but price drops will follow in both PFs and Comiquettes. Prolly same reason why the Emma comiquette didn't have much of a price drop when the PF came out. Works both ways. In the long run, I would say for the comiquettes Punisher, Venom, Carnage and Elektra may go up in price.

Nahh sorry. There are only 3 PF grails you can claim. Doom, Hulk, and Cap. The only problem with them is they still look like dolls!

Ironman and Wolvie hitting 2k and 900 is already considered skyrocket, you can justify it however you want. PFwise really only the Doom, Grey Hulk and Spiderman have gone that far (2k).

That would be Grey Hulk and Negative Zone Spidey! What was the ES on those pieces? Both are big guns in the Marvel U. Which popular Marvel comiquette ever had such a low ES! Don't even say white Elektra. There is NO comparing her to the big guns.

True, and if you made the Hulk as a comiquette initially with sculpted pants I'll gurantee it would have hit the same numbers. If you think the cloth was the sole reason it went up in value and not the fact that there were no alternatives and it being a great sculpt, you're kidding yourself. Here's Andy's version with sculpted pants.

Great work on the Spidey conversion! I never considering buying this PF because it just didn't look very good. After seeing the musculature under the poor choice in cloth material and the look of the statue after the customization, it truly is a great piece.

Never was a fan of the Hulk PF. Static pose and docile face just killed this piece for me. I'm hoping the Olivetti comiquette is pure RAGE! If so, that's the one being added to my collection.

Andy B.'s piece is still the greatest Hulk statue ever created.But the Olivetti Com, just by his style, will give it a run for its money.

Personally I am not bothered if the price/value went up or down cos I usually buy pieces that I like, no plans to sell it. It's only when you missed out on the initial launch and you are trying to buy it later that's where it matters.
