The first time I visited Toronto I took a cable car and there were these two guys next to me having a conversation with VERY northern accents and EVERY SINGLE SENTENCE ended with "eh?" I was blown away, I thought that was a stereotype that they talk like that. To Toronto's credit, those were the only two guys who talked like that there so they must not have been from the area.
I almost pissed myself when I saw a policeman on a horse. I was like, "HEY IS THAT A MOUNTIE??" My friend shook her head. But come on, you go all the way to Canada (flying from coast to coast in my case) and you don't see a single Mountie? What a rip!
The whole rainbow conspiracy reminds me a bit of Family Guy when Peter buys "Cloud Insurance."
