Pretty kewl. I've been looking to pick one up for a while. Diving bell figures rule!!

I wonder if this means they could get the apexplorers too? This might begin my slow slide into the urban vinyl jungle...

I was thinking the same thing.....wonder what the prices are gonna be like.....my Dig was 289+shipping. They are AMAZING figures but 300$ 12" figures are pretty hard on the wallet.

That's what I'm talkin' about :rock I really hope this means we see the Apexplorers and others coming in... they already had the Firespecter... but with this addition I think it might (**fingers crossed**) be a sure thing.

I might have to cancel some other figures just to get both the brown and the white versions of Copperhead-18 DIG! I am just really glad that Sideshow imported this awesome line of figures from HOT TOYS. :monkey5

Man, I've been wanting these since I first discovered them, but could never bring myself to spend the dollars they cost... if Sideshow can bring them in at a better price, I will be ordering the minute they are up... otherwise, I may continue to longingly look at them wishing I could add them to my collection.

I'm pretty excited about seeing these too. I hope they aren't too expensive as well, otherwise I might pass.

For Adventure Team fans these are a must!

I'd love to get that figure but if they don't bring it in for around 150 then it's a no go for me.

I cant believe it, but I actually ordered one of these.
The reg edition though. prefer it to the white.

Will fit in nicely with the theme of my Weta Rayguns.

all of the copper pieces on these are in fact real copper right?

could somebody point me in the direction of more from this line?
I really like this piece and its tweeked my interest

I don't much about these figures nor Kenny Wong but I Googled him and found the following site: https://www.kennyswork.com/news/?cat=5 (make sure to go to the next page at the bottom of the site).

There are 300 signed figures -- Sideshow has 30 for sale.

The Special Edition comes with a pillar that can house the copper helmet and regulator.

I just couldn't resist. I purchased the Special Edition...and I'm currently eyeballing the other one.

There is only one other figure at this point called Dark and it may be a tough/expensive one to find. As to why they are expensive, they are incredibly detailed with many machined metal pieces and accessories and lots of them. It really is an awesome figure, but yet another COSTLY line to get into. I really need to get some in hand pics up. :( The bummer on the non-exclusive is no nifty stand for the octopus air thing and helmet...it makes an impressive display. There are one of those things that the pics and descriptions don't really do justice. The Apexplorers are like this too...just crazy detailed lots of goodies and ooze quality.

That figure is just so cool looking......I love that and the Firespektor...but I just can't pay that much for a figure. :monkey2:monkey2 Well if I had the money I would. come on lottery!! :lol Anyway, I look forward to seeing pics of this from you guys that get this!! This is so bad ass!!! :rock :rock

Arghhh those rayguns look soooo awesome. I've gotta get more focused though...my collection is ALL over the place right now lol. You can't buy everything can you? :google:google:google

p.s. For those of you that got the Dig, when is he gonna ship? Do they have them in stock or will it be later when it ships?

The Rayguns are too rich for my blood....but I did buy the mini-melter at Comic Con. I wish I could afford the collection of WETA Rayguns. That would be rather cool.

The website estimates DIG to arrived Dec 2007.

I dont much about these figures. Why such a high price?

I think its a combination of things, one is the maker... you are basically paying for a piece of art more than a collectible (or at least thats the idea), smaller edition sizes and the quality of the items is really staggering. I have one of the Apexplorers and the detail and quality is just mind blowing... and I think this one looks even more impressive.

But even though I like this figure, he's not exactly my cup of tea. Now if he was a diving ape it would be all over :rock :monkey5

wow.
you made me look up those Apexplorers. Never seen them before. awesome.

What do those run? How hard would they be to pick up now?

hehe you are started down an expensive path...these things are not easy to find...I think i read the Jungle Ice figure is limited to 150 pieces and they have a high pricepoint to begin with. On the same hand there really isn't much out there that rivals this stuff in detail, accessories, and creativity. They really are pieces art.
