Is it ever acceptable to wear ready-made store bought costumes?

  • Depends on the costume. Sometimes costume kits work, or are a good base for customizing.

depends
a stormie , for starters
the helmet itself is 100-500
the gun 25-500
the armor 200-900
the boots 25-200
jumpsuit/gloves/etc just raise that higher

not many people can make thier own helmet/armor at home
and fett is way more than that...

Jesus.

So some people make their own stuff? Else you can buy stuff from them? I assume they don't have an open store per say but you have to be a member? I am not sure how that stuff entirely works but it has always been intriguing.

You cant vacuform you own abs plastic at home? Some can and do.

Heck the fett outfit is prob close to 2 grand to make look right.

Im no expert but you have to pass an accuracy test to be able to be part of certain events i think.
