A vast improvement on Doubledee Babs, and more in tradition with the rest of the pieces. But I'll agree that it doesn't really have that AH!-ness that the first ones did. Still a must buy.

True, but I seen it in 3D so I got a different experience when I 1st seen it(to me it was cool). Not that true 3D crap they showed on Clash of the Titans that movie was crap to. That movie's 3D was fake.

Hey- I'm new to the site and I've got a couple questions that I just can't seem to find answers to, if anybody here could help me I'd greatly appreciate it!

I've been a fan of the 'Cover Girls' series for a while now but only recently started collecting them. I just bought Zatanna followed by Catwoman, at the bottom of Zatanna it's printed ____ / 5000 and Catwoman is written ____ / ____ with the respective numbers written in for both statues but I was wonder if other people have the same issue with different statues or why this is? then secondly, if anyone can help- I'm looking to buy Black Canary (re-releasing at the end of June via DC Direct) and Wonder Woman (who is labeled a new-run, extremely limited via DC Direct) next but will these back-orders to my local comic shop be from the 5000 series or not marked at all underneath the base?

So you question is that some numbers are missing from the base? I would contact some one from DC Direct that would be your best bet. Do you have there certificates? Now for your second Q I can help. The 1st run of the Covergirls series to me seems that they are 5000 each. They are divided in 2 shipments. the 2nd release comes like 3 to 4 months or more after the 1st batch. We would be on a new run for Wonder since both her release have pass. They should be mark from 1 to whatever since it's a new run. I hope my answer is somewhat correct.

Zatanna & Wonder Woman where done that way. Catwoman and up have been fine point, but I think my Black Canary has Silver ink on her base. I would have to check later. I don't think they have a 2nd run on any of the ladies.

On my Catwoman base it's written "2868 of 5000" while my Zatanna is "2426 of 5000" with the "of 5000" being printed on my Zee statue.

Both are first run statues as far as I know (I bought them as soon as they came out).

I can't see anything in particular that's objectionable about Supergirl, other than the base (logo?) and the fact that she's dull as hell. She's no Alex Ross Supergirl (ugh...a horribly successful attempt to desexualize a heroine if I ever saw one), but there's a whole lot of something missing.

from the DC Direct Official Site: Harley Quinn will be released on September 8th & Ivy on the 15th. Saw pictures of the Harley with the bloody mallet though and it looks gorgeous and makes the wait harder.
