personally theres a big difference to me between personal attacks and just friendly ribbing or acting up a little for a laugh.

The day we can no longer crack a harmless joke is the day I'll disappear from the board.
I try to find something funny in just about everything in life each day.

The president of my company has stated before that one of her fav characteristics of me is that I can lighten up even serious / tense moments and keep everyone in that moment sane just by cracking an offbeat joke when not expected.

I just hope it never comes to the point that the board's butthole is puckered air-tight cause we have to conform to each and every imbalanced nut that flies off the handle at an obviously harmless comment.
what a boring board it would be ....

I don't think we are talking about harmless joking. This board is fun and nobody wants to see that disappear. A little fun is good for everyone...

That's the thing I appreciate about this board, many things can be said and jokes are allowed.

On many other boards they are way too strict !

yeah but sometimes people get worked up over a harmless joke and then the serious trash talking starts.

if the drama queen gets the PM to "chill out, it was a harmless joke", then we're all good.
I just dont want the harmless joker to get the smack down... the correction would be in the wrong direction IMO..

I guess I'm lucky - most of the people I encounter on a regular basis aren't unpleasant to be around. I guess if you're around juvenile delinquents all day or you're a correctional officer than perhaps there's some excuse for antisocial behaviour.

Most of my work is in jails
