Never saw Rocky? That's like not seeing Star Wars

It is on my ever growing list of must watch movies. I just never have been big into the boxing genre of movies. They all feel the same to me. I probably should just give them a watch sooner rather than later.

It's really just a love story with a guy who happens to be a boxer. It's not like you have to be remotely interested in boxing to appreciate it. I'm not into boxing at all, and I love Rocky and Raging Bull.

Ugh. I don't care for sports anymore, but I'll be the first to admit we have the worst sports fans on the planet. If you sit in the stands with a rival jersey on, you'll get batteries thrown at you. If it happens to be a Cowboys jersey, you'll be put in a coma.

To be fair, it's not the only place that sort of thing happens...but Philly has gotten famous for it. Couldn't resist.

Philly fans more often than not get a worse rep than they deserve. They have done some ****** things but are by no means the worst. That's not to say some of them don't suck. But there are far worse fan bases out there.

I can also say that having been to a few hundred Caps games, the Philly fans that come down are the worst by far. Pens and Rangers fans can be obnoxious, but Philly fans are the only ones who show up LOOKING for a fight.

Now, we Philly fans aren't the worst in the country but our teams are. I cannot think of another city that is four for four, NFL NBA NHL MLB, that is in a worse position. None of our teams are good and it keeps getting worse. I think the Patriots are gonna win more games this year than the Sixers. It's pretty damn sad. We're passionate but our sports teams do not share our passion. It's a travesty.

Just got back from seeing this.... Very Very good film. Best made Rocky film after Rocky 1. Stallone is great. Whole cast is great. A bit corny like all Rocky movies can be but that is a good thing IMO. I would say it rates like this in the series.

Rocky II - 8 out of 10
Rocky III - 8 out of 10
Rocky IV - 4 out of 10 (I know this is a fav for many bit it is just a big MTV video IMO)
Rocky V - 2 out of 10
Balboa - 7 out of 10
Creed - 7.5 out of 10
