I think the people that take it too seriously are the ones that don't participate in this thread. Some may put an occasional post in complaining they missed a code or that they feel ripped off or saying the thread should be shut down, etc. You know, ingrates. Some of the people I have on my blacklist. For everyone else it's just a fun virtual hang-out time.

There's a lot of truth in this. Most of the complainers had low post counts and rarely interacted. They only chimed in to either complain or to ask what the code was (even with it posted in the title). Look forward to more fun this time with everyone... And the ghost codes

I think I wound up with $130 in codes last year, maybe around $80 dollars worth since I had gotten 50$ from Mechanic Stark.

Nice haul GG! I also bought the mechanic as well. Underrated figure imo. Also got the first avenger cap. May have to bite on other discs this year

I did pretty well with codes and ended up with the cantina environment, which had double rewards at the time. Maybe got $100 if that was factored in. This thread is a blast during spook.

I'm more interested in what items will get discounts.

I'm curious what will be discounted this year too. I'm assuming some of the same things like the various Batman Armory sets and probably the Cap/Rogers two pack. Probably the Robocop figures and the slower moving Iron Man 3 armies.

I'd imagine Ichabob might go on a discount, but it might shelfwarm for a little while longer before that happens

I had a pretty good time last year. I think I ended up with about seventy dollars worth of points. I'm not sure I'll invest as much time in it this year but I still appreciate the chance to do it.

I picked up a couple figures last year that got a nice discount and extra rewards but there reallly is not anything i want this year, maybe the BD T-800 if it has a good enough deal. Mostly just looking forward to trying catch as many codes as i can.

I'd be happy to get that much. Combined with what I already have I'd get about $120 off Thanos.

I wouldn't mind the Bat Signel set but it would really have to be discounted for me to get it. I like it, but it's not real high on my list.

I can't wait for spooktacular. I think I got about $55 worth rewards & I bought the hulk-banner set at a big discount. I was hoping for the 43 & wolverine this year but they are waitlisted now. I hope the rocket-groot set & black widow will be on sale too. It's been fun hanging in here to get those codes!

Same here, I'm at like $300 banked with 3 or 4 more figures still pending before the year is out.

Also my hope for Spook is the Winter Soldier Cap/Steve pack, I want that so bad.

Yes!! download the Tapatalk app on IOS or Android once you find sideshow freaks forum log in, then there will be a star in the upper right of each topic to subscribe to the topic. Look out for spooktacular, they may bring the discount codes back. I have an office job so I have my phone next to me and see the forum throughout the day while at work so its awesome and quick to access.

I'm on Tapatalk and use it always. Sometimes it's buggy but for the most part I never go to the normal forum only when I am Updating signatures and leaving feedback

Oh, I was beyond ecstatic to get that much. lol It's an expensive hobby for me so every penny counts. Luckily I've found my niche in kit bashing but there's always those one or two figure that suck me in. BD Robocop is one of them.

If you haven't participated, you won't believe how crazy this thread will get during Halloween / Spooktacular week. In a good way. They put up a $5 code and the place goes bananas - in a good way. Then 5 minutes later the code is gone...some people are cheering because they got in just in time...others are booing because they just missed it.

The overnight codes are for us diehards. I usually set an alarm every 2.5 hours I think the overnight codes last longer, maybe 30 minutes? But then again I have no trouble at all falling right back asleep in the middle of the night. I seem to remember a lot of people ending up with 70-80 bucks in their RP wallet when it was all said and done.

Two years ago I was able to get like $75 and last year I got $40 or so and felt like I let myself down by missing so many codes haha
