I think there are different levels of dignity. I think dressing up and having fun is more dignified than sitting around and bemoaning those that do. At least we're enjoying ourselves.

Someone finds all those shenanigans fun. Many people like cosplay, I think it's OK in an episode of CSI once every 10 years.

The CSI episode with the Fur Pile comes to mind (Fur and Loathing). To this day, my best friend's wife freaks out at the mere mention of fur piles.

The sculpt has be beyond Hot Toys paint app level when they charge $ 240,-. Figure itself is pretty barebones, no Tatooine display options and where is his cloak?

Seems that with Sideshows 1/6 prices they are stating that they comparable to Hot Toys now. Not sure what to think of this...
