Anyone else find Ash and/or beetlejuice tempting but fear the final results and pricing? lol

I'm really interested to see Beetlejuice but if he's priced like Maul I doubt I'll be getting him unless he's super loaded with accessories. For me I would only consider dropping $240 on a bare bones figure from Hot Toys, not a SS 1:6 which to me are still not in the same league as HT.

Well spooktacular has been pretty crappy and uninspiring this year. Maybe that's why another retailer's real/fake/TBD sale has generated more posts and excitement than anything Sideshow has done all week.

I want to see Beetlejuice for sure, but I thought I remember seeing someone say something to the effect that the tombstone would be sold separate, or maybe as a deluxe edition. That should be included if you ask me, for what I assume the price to be in the range of. We'll see I guess.

I've been waiting to see some good pics of the Gotham Knight. The few low quality pics I've seen the body looks bad. The same lumpy, cartoonish body SSC seems to always use

It was that stupid plate they used in the head sculpt for the eyes that kept pushing out the jaws on all the head sculpt. I think I read that they stopped using it. We'll see how Indy and Pilot Luke turn out.

yeah, it seems someone likes to pick and choose what they read/how they read it.... Popcultcha, yes I said it, has an automatic Australian VAT (value added tax) added in to the shown price on site, it only changes if you show you are in the USA to a no VAT added price in cart, it is like 9% VAT. so prices are "glitchy" if you do not realize that. Let them deal with it how they will, it did say an EXTRA 20% off as well. I did not order so I have no dog in the fight, but it has been a little much. And I BET they do something next year after all this....

This Spook has been rather slow all around, and those thinking 15% off are good deals via SS when they have had them for 30% off sev. times this year for many of the same items, is ludicrous. Glad I got some RP but, it def is not worth the hype this yr at all. JMO.

40% off their entire inventory isn't hard to imagine? On a site that's running a promotion (written in ENGLISH) that says they're having a sale for 20% off regular price on in-stock items? Yeah, sounds totally plausible.

I've never been to their site before. How am I supposed to know what "regular price" is? When the item page has a "suggested price" with a slash through it and their actual price under it, that's exactly how "regular prices" are listed on a million different online stores. I also don't know what the exchange rate, VAT tax or shipping from Australia is. The promo text explained we would see the discounts IN OUR CART. So when the item in my cart had a lower price than was on the item page, it looked like everything was working as promised. They even admitted in their FB post that the item pages were not supposed to show a discount. We were supposed to see one price on the item page, and a 20% lower price in the cart, which was precisely what we saw, so there was no reason to suspect there was any "glitch." And very few of us understood that the removal of the VAT tax brought the price even lower. THAT'S what looked like the error if anything, but it turns out that was in fact correct and not an error.

I'm seeing about $190 shipped to the US right now. So, they've fixed it, at least from what I can tell.
