Think I may have gotten into this hobby at a bad time. Hearing that prices have gone up significantly over the years. Now figures running roughly $220 is a bit tough. Not sure how things will be if these things get up to $250+

This is the best time IMO. The figures also look phenomenal these days. Can't say the same for 5-6 years ago.

They do look amazing (especially HT). Just not sure when the prices would get to be too much.

Maybe Pixelpiper's not enjoying the PC buzz because if I recall correctly he was convinced all these "glitch" orders would be cancelled.

I was wondering whether legally they could cancel an order.

If this was your normal brick and mortar business (rather then online) once an invoice is generated, received and paid in full by the customer, even if the stocked item is not in hand yet most businesses can't simply cancel the order; can they?

I'm not sure about the legalities... SSC won't let you pay off a flex order early unless the product is in stock, but you can pay in full using Paypal.

Typically the monthly $20 off codes are good for anything that has been up for preorder for 2 or sometimes 3 months or longer.

Just placed a PC order on Wolverine X-Men Last Stand figure. If I placed it earlier it would have been $28 cheaper during the glitch... so basically it was free shipping. I feel kind of bad though.... taking advantage of there countries weak currency to pay less for a figure. I don't know... just something about it. Still happy I got this figure. Been wanting it for a long time and finally was able to get it for a big discount.

And if the U.S. Reserve puts up interest rates the Aussie dollar will go down even further, especially given there is a good chance that the Aus Reserve will push down rates eventually.

I wish for the days when the Aussie was parity with the US.

In a way I am glad I didn't place a glitch order.... I would have gone crazy buying Chitauri warriors for a Avengers display They would have been like $100 or so each, insane deal.

Quick question. So when I go to the PC site, what prices am I seeing? Are they listed as AU prices. If so then am I to assume that they would be even cheaper than listed if I'm in the US buying them? Approx $.36/ dollar cheaper?
