Is Sideshow's site messed up for everyone?


For days now product searches have come up with (0) products. You can still click on the link and find everything inside, so that's not a problem.

However, if you click on 'View Items' from your Promo Code list, and try to search for all the eligible products, you can only see the preview page.

The 'Show more collectibles' or 'Load all collectibles' links go to a blank page.

Same for me, Kuat.

I ended up doing a search on Google in order to find the Hot Toys Tatooine Luke and was able to order it with the current discount code that way.

So this free 3 day shipping is just an "upgrade". You pay the ridiculous shipping charge, but will just get it faster?? I'd rather it take longer and not pay $20 for shipping. Thanks Sideshow!!! Your the best! I can order stuff from Australia at popcultcha and it's cheaper and faster shipping... What a joke!

Lots of their stuff has free shipping right now. Unfortunately not on much of the new SW stuff outside Kenobi.

So this free 3 day shipping is just an "upgrade". You pay the ridiculous shipping charge, but will just get it faster?? I'd rather it take longer and not pay $20 for shipping. Thanks Sideshow!!! Your the best! I can order stuff from Australia at popcultcha and it's cheaper and faster shipping... What a joke!

Not trying to defend them but their shipping prices are high because that's what they cost. I've shipped out a ton of statues and figures this past year and I could never get the cost lower than what Sideshow charges.

Yeah, I've shipped some things this year too and foolishly went with UPS. Never again, their prices are so high compared to USPS. That's what I'm going with from now on.

Yeah. I know shipping is getting out of hand. I have a friend who works for UPS. But still in a day and age where so many places offer free shipping it's just a way to do business. I've ordered much larger and heavier items and paid less or nothing. Plus Sideshow isn't an individual. They pay a whole lot less than you and me. They do bulk not individual. UPS needs to compete with the likes of FedEx and various other places. I just feel they are clearly taking advantage. Like many say on here how does Big Bad Toy Store and other much smaller online retailers charge less than someone like Sideshow who's not just an online retailer but a distributor for various manufacturers.

Does anyone know the fees for canceling an order with Flex pay? I didn't cancel an order in time and the first payment is charged tomorrow, was needing to use that money for presents instead.

FLEXPAY ITEM CANCELLATION FEES
Due to the increased administrative costs of the Flex Pay option, Sideshow will charge Flex Pay customers a cancellation fee when a flex pay order is canceled by the customer or by Sideshow (due to a credit card decline, incomplete shipping info, violation of policies etc.).

Fee chart
Cancellation fees are not applicable until after the Flexpay payments have begun charging. The fee will be $20.00 per monthly payment made. Orders charged for less than $100 will be assessed a $10.00 fee.

Payment plans with Non-refundable Deposits (NRD)
If an item requires a non-refundable deposit combined with a payment plan, then the NRD will take the place of the cancellation fee schedule listed above.

But even with higher shipping charges compared to smaller retailers, SS thinks they you give more by giving you RPs and sometimes even double.

Does Sideshow let you have one mulligan as far as canceling a pre-order goes? I hear there is a one-time situation when they allow you to use an nrd toward another figure rather than losing it altogether ...

Yeah, they did that for me once. You have to transfer it to a different pre-order I think.

At their discretion but one time only is usually a given (I've had a few). Contact them.

Dealing with that now actually. I have one more FlexPay on Arkham Batman PF, but when I heard Spider-Man PF was coming early I figured I'd try and cancel Batman and more the NRD and payments to Spider-Man. It seems they don't want to do that for me.
