Hmm...messing around at sideshow's site. It appears anytime you put any marvel figure in your cart at full price, they offer you the Hill deal. If you do it on flexpay, nothing. Seems you have to pay full price. There's an button to claim the offer. If I do it, will I be locked into buying the initial figure in the cart?

That happened to me before. I've always tried calling on late Friday afternoons though, during the last 2-3 hours they were supposed to be open. Never could get through. I called the following Monday and asked them about it and they claim they have meetings during that time.

Everyone knows Friday is movie day

Has anyone had any luck with using their online chat? Every time I try to use it, I get a not available message.

i ended up calling last week because i got the same thing for 2 weeks, they said their site isnt working so live chat was down... nice of them to let us know wasnt it >.<

I really hope there is a February code this month. I've kinda always feared them doing away with them. Between the monthly codes and sideshow reward points, neither of which they have to do, it wouldn't surprise me if they eventually did away with them. Hopefully they keep them around for now at least, otherwise it may onto BBTS since their shipping prices are a lot better.

I think their reason was a lack of paper to print the codes on but personally I think it was just a problem at the ports

They want people to buy directly from them, they won't do away with the rewards or codes. If they had zero perks at all people would shop elsewhere, or start ordering HT directly from HK.

I was finally able to talk to a rep last night on live chat and asked when we might see the next $20 off code. She told me that it would be early in February, no later than Valentine's Day.

Will the February code be applicable to just the same ol' stuff we always see(Zod, Mandarin, etc.) or can we use it on anything that's been out or on preorder for more than a couple of months?

Yeah, the monthly codes work on any item that has been up for pre-order a short while.

Pixelpiper had a good specific answer a few pages back, so i'll just quote him:
"Monthly coupon codes are applicable to any item listed on the site prior to the 1st of the month before the coupon code. So if the coupon code is for January, it will work on anything listed before December 1st, including pre-orders. If it doesn't, then it's a database error and you can report it to Sideshow and they'll fix it. Simple. That's it."
