Well, the day ain't over yet. This is apparently running until 12 AM PST, so that's almost another ten hours.

I hope your optimism pays off! We've already been through over 14 hours of Friday the 13th so they'll have to step it up during the last 10 for this promotion/event to end up being anything special, IMHO. It just makes me a little bit nervous for Spook.

I'm actually not being optimistic. Just stating facts. They have over nine hours to do more stuff. And there have been some veeeery slow days during past Spooktaculars.

If this is the test run for Spook...it looks like Spook is done as we have known it in the past. Gone are the codes good for a day, supplemented with the timed codes.

This is my first Spooks. What exactly are hidden codes? Where does one find them?

They've done it differently different years in the past. One year there was an animated graveyard on the Spooktacular page and moving the cursor around random areas at random times brought up codes. Another year there was an animation of floating product photos, which I believe operated on the same principal but also brought up deals on said products. I think there was also a year where just going to different product pages around the site would randomly cause codes to pop up. It's all kind of a blur to me at this point. A lot of late nights and it's been a couple of years since they did anything like that.

Thanks for explaining it to me. If Spooks is on par with SDCC then I'll be happy. But i it's on par with NYCC then I won't be happy.

I plan on preordering the Jedi Training Rey. Anyone else buying from Sideshow in the few days and want to trade referrals?
