Why did they make so many TFA troopers and not ANH troopers? You would think it would be the same cost to produce..but one would be selling like hotcakes.

Because it was the first Star Wars movie in a 30 years. Hype was strong with that one. But hype train crashed very quickly.

For all we know, they may have made just as many (or more) ANH Troopers. I'm sure there was a much higher demand for them and they sold accordingly.

They made a hell of a lot. Wish they released numbers on all of these. Even when it was clear that earlier versions like the basic trooper and squad leader weren't moving they kept releasing more and more variants like the Riot Trooper and Commander.

Someone asked if Sideshow ever reduced the price of their figures and I just remembered getting the Iron Man 3 Manadrin figure for $100 two years ago. So yeah they do reduce prices.

Well I stayed up all night for nothing. Then had to take my daughter to school and missed the damn FOUNDIT code while I was gone for 25 minutes. So you just need to do the opposite of what I do and you should be fine.

Huh, don't remember them lowering the sticker price drastically like that, but I remember them having 30% and even 40% coupons during my first spook year in 2014--it was like a clearance sale and so many figures.

I do feel like I remember a couple years ago some random figures automatically getting something like 3% off. Came out to $12 off or something.
