Current discount codes at SSC

It is weird how stingy they have become with the codes. I hate to be one of those people but I'll switch to BBTS unless I really need to do a payment plan.

I refuse to pay Sideshow's high shipping... I sent a figure this week for $11.15 priority 2-day, so I know they're profiting off their ridiculous shipping costs.

They are def making money off shipping. Without the $20 codes I can't get multiple figures like I have been. BBTS is the way to go.

I'll throw in Alter Ego comics. They have an awesome rewards system (you get yearly birthday points, amongst other things), are working on offering payment plans, and their shipping on sixth scale figures is HALF what Sideshow charges.
Example, my wife bought Hoth Leia from SS and it cost $23 to ship. I bought Aragorn from AE and it was $12. However, their assortment of sixth scale figures has an impressive amount with free shipping.

I ordered my DX11 from Alter Ego all those years ago, haven't used them since then. I'll have to check and see if they still have preorders open for Anakin or Jack Sparrow.

That's about how much they charge me for shipping. It's weird how it's different for everyone from them.

Yea they’ve been charging me about 20 lately, not including the extra 10 for packouts. Been wanting to use my RP on Thanos but it’s discouraging that 30 of that is just for shipping when I can order it somewhere else and get free shipping like TimeWalker

I wonder if they mark up the figure shipping to offset the lower statue shipping costs? I'm selling a bunch of PFs and my quotes from UPS are coming in at double what SSC charged me for them. Seems odd to get a discount on a large item and a big mark up on a smaller one.

I live in Canada and shipping a 1/6 figure costs me like $40 + some ridiculous courier fee thats way more than provincial tax

Yea you aren’t kidding. I mean they didn’t owe us anything and I could see if there was a frustration on having to answer if there was a code everytime they did a video, but going cold turkey for however long, no RP codes, no box sticker coupons, kind of sucks. I guess they had us spoiled. I decided to order the IW Thanos figure from TimeWalker instead of SSC, not a fan of their crazy shipping charges, so I guess I’ll start looking elsewhere.
