It happens pretty often that no one (here) gets the code until well into the month. I can't even remember the last time a normal "monthly" code came around in the first week.

June code was first week.

Does Sideshow sometimes not give a monthly code? ink posted in the Lobo thread that he just got something and there was no code.

They were busy with SDCC so maybe they did not get around to it. It is not something they have to do so, i'm sure it is way down on the priority list.

Usually they will send you a email asking you if you wan to pay it off early if it is instock.

how many people rely on these $20 off codes for ordering now? makes the higher prices a little more manageable, right? August 11 and still no code, is the sky falling? Usually mine are for pre-orders so there is no rush but I can't remember my last order without a code (Robocop maybe when it was first announced). I remember when you wanted to get your pre-order in quickly because they would sell out within a week sometimes, can't remember the last time that has happened, meaning either the higher prices drove away lots of customers or they are making a lot more now (probably a combo of both).

Sideshow can easily afford to give us $20 off and points though, I remember seeing a leaked wholesaler sheet a couple years ago showing that wholesaler costs (like BBTS or AE) were about 30-35% under retail (and that's what Sideshow was selling to them at, since they are the only HT distributor in the US), so giving us $20 and 5% in points, still makes these huge profit items for them. Point is, don't think we are squeezing sideshow's margins or profits with these coupons...

I'm holding off ordering R2 til I get a code. They've been pretty consistent with them for a good while now. Those codes are pretty much a necessity now that the prices have gone up so much and other e-tailers like BBTS and AE can't offer 10% off anymore.

I have nothing of interest to buy as of yet. Waiting for the PO for Batman Arkham but would still need to wait 2 months after that in order to apply a code.

Only order Exclusives direct so discounts on instock items are pretty useless.
