I've had a couple--X-Force Deadpool and Harley PF. Seems like you have to put the item in your cart and let it sit for a minute. They're probably only offering them on pieces non-EX pieces they're trying to move.

Could someone please explain the Alter Ego Comics points/reward system? Is it new, and is it better than SSC's? Not sure if it is the same as before or not, but it's saying you get 1 point per $1 spent. Do a certain amount of points equate to a dollar value? How does the redemption of points work on that site? I remember it used to be 2% back compared to SSC's 5% but now it looks different... Thanks.

you're right, $1 =1point. however, you must get 250 points (i.e spend $250) to get your first $5 coupon. and if you don't use it, you can continue to get $5 for each $250 you spend. You don't get to use any points until you reach 250. It's not like SS where you can use your accumulated points whenever you want. Hope that clears it up a bit for you

I asked about the pop-up codes -

me:how do u get those 5-10% pop up codes?

Sideshow: Those pop up if you have been idle on a webpage for a while and then attempt to leave that page or if you have something in your cart for a while and then attempt to remove it

me: Hmm, I sit there forever then leave and have yet to see one. Ok thx for your help

Sideshow: they won't always pop up it isn't a guaranteed occurrence

Ok, all the items for round 1 are gone so lets finish things up. Again we’ll just see who is interested in what and go from there. I know snooks is interested in a couple things so well see what everyone else wants and see what she ends up wanting.

First is a Hulk Poster. It measures about 18” x 45” and seems to be made out of a thin vinyl.


Next is a Superman Watch. I’m more a Batman guy than Superman.


Next is the “Sideshow 20th Anniversary swag pack.” Keychain, 8gb Flash Drive, Shirt (L), Patches, Pin, etc...


And last but not least a collection of random stuff I had left. Gotham Shirt from the zip line (L), SDCC Program, Gotham lenticular card, Marvel socks, Batman room key, Etc..

It is pretty cool, but I'd rather somebody who likes Superman have it. I did also get a batarang money clip that I am keeping.

As I understand it, the way its set up, the maximum discount you can get on a single item is $100. You can only apply one points code to each item or something like that.
