I just got off the phone with someone in the Amazon customer support department after having been on hold for like thirty minutes and then shuffled around from service rep to service rep. And they still can't tell me why these codes won't work on their site. I was trying to use it on a one-legged ladder that's out of stock.

Interesting, you can now get a $5 gift card by sharing SSC on social media. It works like a gift card, so only on gift card eligible and can't combine it with other codes. So I'm assuming no one in this thread would ever use it.
