I don't think there's ever been a code released in the first week of the month.

Well Alex herself came into this thread 2-3 weeks ago and told us that there would be no Feb code because of an issue printing the cards that they normally put into shipments. So if that's not the case then she's lying.

And I highly doubt that.

if sideshow stopped issuing them, that would just be the end of it.

Maybe Sideshow just add $20 to the list price of every figure, so every order that fails to use a code is paying too much.

Your right sideshow doesn't have to do $20 off a month with codes but I guarantee if they don't do that most people will take their business elsewhere since Sideshow is normally the most expensive

A few maybe but not most. We look out for codes on here but the majority of SSC customers probably do not even know that they send out monthly discounts. Over the last couple years i have used enough $20 off discounts that it adds up to a free figure. I bought from SSC before i knew about the codes and will continue to buy from them whenever they stop.

the majority of SSC customers probably do not even know that they send out monthly discounts.

If they're repeat customers they should know.

The reward points and discounts are their ways to keep their customers. BBTS has their pile of loot system for combined shipping, and like AEC at times, they're prices are slightly less than SSC's retail price. Someone had said earlier, people living in California have the state tax to deal with so many there order from BBTS or AEC as do some international buyers I assume.
