I'm surprised to see so many anti-The Force Awakens posts in here this week, as I love the movie. Or are they just anti-TFA Trooper designs/figures?

I enjoyed the movie a lot, myself, but I find those things really boring. Susan called me out for a Star Wars prize on Force Friday, and I never claimed it because I didn't want to pay $10 shipping for what I was convinced would be a TFA Trooper or Phasma.

I unloaded all of my HT TFA figures this month. Just need to sell kylo dirt cheap. As everyone stated above and I want to concentrate on OT.

When it first came out it was loved. A few months later it sort of became the in thing to hate on it. Sure there may be problems with it, but there's problems with most things, including the originals. But don't dare say anything about the originals as they're considered classics and works of art:dunno

Sort of like the new Star Trek Discovery show. I love it, and sure it may not be for everyone, but the reactions from a part of the fan base is venomous. I've watched every thing Star Trek multiple times over, except for the original 3 seasons and I think that may explain the difference :dunno

Yeah, I think you're right that it became cool to hate on it almost immediately after it came out, though I actually had the reverse situation. The first night I saw it I thought it was good, not great, but when I saw it for the second time (the very next night, of course), I loved it and have ever since, despite its obvious and multiple flaws.

None of the TFA figures have ever tempted me either, though that's not saying much since I have a pretty small, highly curated collection in my theater room.
