Just received my helmet kit! It's very nice! I've already trimmed all of the smaller pieces, but I wanted to check in before I started hacking into the helmet. What's the best type of saw and sand paper to use to get the bottom of the helmet correctly trimmed? This is actually my first project like this and I want to make sure it turns out well! I'll probably need some paint advice as well (as far as color and type), but I'll cross that bridge when I come to it...

Now lets see it on the PF :monkey5

Took a little while to get it goin', but here we have it. Huge, huge thanks to Eric the 'Superjedi' over on TheDentedHelmet forums on this one. Man, what a bang-up job he did painting this helmet for me...and of course Nathan for taking the time to make this sculpt in the first place. Absolutely KILLER!

It's such a HUGE difference in how fantastic the PF Boba Fett statue looks now with a helmet that's properly scaled, flared, and EXTREMELY accurately painted - this one, ESB style!...and here are a few pics to prove it, the first one is without flash...I liked the glow coming from behind it. The second shot is exactly the same, but with the flash on. Enjoy!

That looks amazing!!!!!!! :chew

Nathan :)

Thanks Nathan! Your helmet was KEY! Excellent sculpting job man...seriously. And that exceptional paint-job by Eric makes it shine even more...which is pretty good for such a weathered helmet! :rotfl

Honestly, it makes the PF piece 100 times better to have such a stellar helmet on there now. Man I LOVE this thing! :D
