I'd think maybe starting with one of the new HT muscular base bodies that are coming out might work, and then maybe sculpting new lower legs. With silicone or rubber skin, just too much of a chance of tearing or limiting articulation. Look forward to seeing what you come up with, Spense.

I was thinking more of a go motion type armature in a very soft silicone body. The articulation would be almost limitless. I dabbled with this some years ago, as soon as I get finished with my current projects I’ll get some stuff together to show you what I mean.

It would be a bit pricy but nowhere near $2500, more around $450-$500.

Why make the body seamless? Those Armbands and kneepads can be well used to hide the main joints... :dunno

The ground work One's Customs has posted is solid. I can only imagine how much has changed since his last preview posts. He also mentioned working on Casey Jones. I've been watching his thread and after being introduced to his work by DarthMagnus I bet he's going to kill it on this project.

I've been writing with the guy auctioning off that awesome piece - I sadly can't afford the full custom, but he's proposed to sell resin casts of the head only for $20 for those interested.

The seller apparently just joined SSF (don't know his handle though) and said he may organize an interest thread soon to see if a limited run might be possible to keep the price down.
