The Worst Thing about this Bane Figure: There's Only One

This is a statue that a fellow artist on a game art forum I frequent created. I'm not sure what the scale is but it's one of a kind and he actually says its for sale...no idea on price though. You can see the pics in the article but I linked them as well.

I hope when Sideshow decides to make their Bane PF they make it similar to this Arkham design. I like all the venom tubes and ridiculously huge size vs. just a big dude in a black tank top and a gimp mask.

I prefer the version from Arkam Origins over the Asylum/City version

Totally agree with you here. My perception of Bane is more a brilliant tactician and less a hulking brute with venom tubes everywhere (Batman and Robin).

I like what he did with the venom tubes. He made them light up ...very nice. The sculpt is nice, but not my cup of tea.

Finally I get to see these pictures, tapatalk wasn't putting them up while I was at work. IT's a nice sculpt and the light up tubes is a great idea, my one nitpick with the whole design is the painted on veins, I think it takes away from all the really good work he did.

While I wont say it's awful.... I way prefer the comic look.

It's a great sculpt of a design I'm not very fond of. I agree that Bane's Arkham Origins look is much better than the Hulked-out Arkham Asylum/City look.

Pretty sick piece. My only problem with it, is the mask. Looks like a hybrid of Juggernaut in X3 and a gimp mask.

But lighting and paint are sick. Looks awesome.
