It looks good except for the fact that the flesh color is off between the face, arms and hands. It looks like three different shades of flesh color not to mention the arms are shiny. You kind of need to have at least the arms painted to really pull off the look properly.

I may sand the arms, the color differential is close enough actually. It all depends on the lighting, really.

That...looks really, really good! Gotta say, Josh did one helluva job!
There's not much I can add that the others haven't said already,'cept maybe this. Your display would jump up several notches this way:At Michael's you can get some moss, and some fake plants w/small leaves. Glue the moss on the base, stick in some plants, a couple sticks and you've got a Dagobah base!

I can't see the pics here from work. Are you still using the Buck body? IMO thats what needs the biggest fix to make it a good Dagobah figure as a semidressed Buck looks like ++++.

Yep, it's the shorter buck. Someday I may change out the body when someone makes a decent shorter body... but for now this will do.

Thanks Hollis. That is a great base idea for anyone who wants to do this exclusively as a Dagobah display. For me, as mentioned earlier, I will also use the Fig as a Besbin arrival Luke as well as early Vader battle Luke.

I'll try to take a few new angle shots later today or tomorrow. I may want to sand the arms and dull the hair first though...

I wonder if this can be done with the VCD Yoda...

I don't have my hasbro Luke or a Bespin SSC Luke, dammit!!!!

You, of all Artists, should pick one up Mikey. The Hasbro Luke Yoda pack is still pretty cheap and with your SSC Bes Luke and Yoda repaints it would be a great display piece for your shelf.

It makes a huge difference as a display piece once Luke is all weathered with that backback, really a mini PF, but poseable, makes it all the better.

I picked up a Medi Yoda so I'll let you know about that too.

I know, I know. I've actually got the pack, but it's in storage along with some other junk...

I don't have an SSC Bespin Luke, though. I kept hoping my wait list would be converted and it never was. I'm pretty sure I could fit the VCD Yoda in there. Mine has balljoints at the ankles, and if the feet don't fit in the bag, I can just pop them off. Man, I'm getting excited about this. Josh has once again inspired me!

Now I wish I'd gotten in on Hurricane's Luke/Vader head to make it really a mini-PF. Is he still offering them?

I have put the VCD yoda in the Hasbro pack. Its a tight fit but he does fit. (emphasis on tight. you really have to work him in).

I think that could be arranged Michael. PM 'Cane! I'm sure he'll do one for you.

One other thing, when and if you do this (which you have to with your amazing Yoda) is to see this displayed with a pinlight over it and maybe some brush and sticks, enviromental base stuff. It will be pretty nuts.

Someone, one day, will do a Dagobah diorama with Yoda hut, etc and it will be a stunner. This Luke sculpt is SO underrated its not funny.

Nice setup Paul, looks great. I'm totally with you on the sculpt, it's a bit more a stylistic sculpt like Jedi Luke, but I find it totally captures Mark in ESB. A fun figure to photograph and a great one to own.

Thanks Sean. I REALLY wish you could photograph this to do it proper justice. I can only do so much. :D Nevertheless more pics are coming soon.

Okay, here are some more shots... I sanded the arms some, tried to putty out the hair shine a bit. Different angles and light here... enjoy.

Great shots Paul! Sorry for being so late to this party... My house is not yet internet ready and it's killing me. I can only swing like 2 or 3 minutes every so many days for internet.. :monkey4

Glad Luke arrived safe and sound! I love the pics you took, some really good ones in there.. And it's hard to not have Yoda look creepy... :lol

Great job Paul, I'm honored to have done it for you. :rock

Out of curiousity, did Josh weather up the jacket for you incase you ever wanted to not have Yoda on his back or did you have this done only to ever be like this?

I just hope these pics honor your work. And I'm honored you did this for me Bro.

Josh weathered the jacket too. As previously mentioned, I will posing this figure as a Besbin Arrival Luke as well as early Vader Battle Luke.:D :chew
