Just the little bit of hair that I had for Kane (I used rabbit fur) was a pain. And all I wanted was for it to look sweaty and matted to Kane's forehead. It would look nice for maybe 5 days - then go back to it's normal look.

One thing that might work that I haven't tried yet - is to have a hybrid between sculpted and rooted. The overall hair is sculpted, but then you have some parts with rooted hair. Like in the parting border of the hair, along the top of the forehead, along the the ears, and the the neck. Maybe.

I also think the mix of sculpted and rooted hair is the way to go to achieve Anderson's look in the movie...can't wait to see your take on her! I know a lot of bashers where having a tough time getting her dimensions and armor correct, since she is smaller in comparison to Dredd and I think her armor is different too, slightly.

That's why I don't like to do bashes. And don't consider myself to be a kit basher or basher.

To try to make a figure from mix-matching components from other makers is tough. It's much better to make everything yourself so that you can have 100% control over how each piece works and visually fits with each other. I've seen a lot of the Anderson bashes and they obviously look like they've been put together with components that weren't designed together. The human eye picks up these inconsistencies even if you're not consciously aware of it. They just don't look right.

Anderson's uniform isn't simply a female version of Dredd's uniform. There's actually more that is different about the two than similar.

But based on level of complexity; Anderson's outfit is much more simple than Dredd's outfit. Especially after having gone through the process of building the more complex Dredd outfit.

100% agree...I try to stay away from female figures...but I have a feeling you might force me to break my rule

So hopefully by the end of this week - everyone will be confirmed and all 18 Dredds will be spoken for.

You guys are in for a treat. My camera is about 5 years old - meaning 5 years ancient so the prototype looks probably 30% better in hand. AND my final figures tend to be better than the prototype since they have all the tweaks and all the kinks worked out that the prototype has.
