Alright guys, here he is:

I'm extremely happy with the results!
Is there room for improvement? Yes, of course, there always is, but I'm as happy as a clam with my new Luke!
Fabio painted up two heads last night and after picking them up I had endless fun posing Luke as a mean, lean Jedi Knight! No more doubtful, woeful looks from him... bring on Vader to kick his black clad armored butt!

I didn't have time to take many pics this morning, but it's amazing how the figure changes with the new head. I can finally pose him in aggressive poses!
I just took a few pics in the same place I did a photo comparison ages ago, when SST's Luke first came out.

Here's how he looked originally.

And a few more shots of the new, mean Luke.

Here's the side by side comaprison of the head sculpts (this is the second one painted by Fabio, the SST head sculpt had some mods to the eyes, to try and make them look less vacant), with a DID head for comparison's sake.

I'm very happy with the result, although the inherent flaws of the body still need to be overcome... I'm thinking of looking for a short DML body to see if it'll work better, although I'm loathe to lose the SST hands.

Anyway, hope you like it as well!

Honestly, doesn't look like Luke to me. I still prefer the original sculpt, but glad you are happy with the result.

Figure looks good. I would utilize this sculpt for an older jedi master Luke with the traditional jedi robes. Are you going to make the sculpt available.

I've tried pretty much every type of body out there for Jedi Luke, and the only one that really works imo is a normal sized Buck. The jumpsuit fits like a dream. My guess is it was originally tailored to fit a normal Buck.

he still looks a little aged. but vastly superior to sculpt #1. all in all, i like it. i would recomend your painter thin his paints a little more, it looks a little chalky. ( the paints could also be old, that can cause that too.)

overall, Looks great, as for the body, swap him over to the Sideshow Pro.

Sideshow Pro is a good idea.
Thanks for the tip on the paints!

Still the buck.
I'm thinking of doing some surgery to shorten the arms a bit, that might help... but, to be honest, I really think it's the whole body that is a problem, it looks like the torso and arms are from the regular buck and only the legs were shortened, so even if I do shorten the arms, it'll still look odd.

Hello folks!

Just wanted to post pics of the unpainted cast:

Haven't forgotten you drod26!
Unfortunately, we haven't been able to find a single option to ship this thing that would make it cost-effective... just shipping one head costs more than the head itself...
But we're trying to figure something out. You like the sculpt, so you should get one!

Solid abake.. I was just going to pm you to get an update. Let me know when you work out the shipping charges.
