Hey guys. Thought I'd post a new thread about my custom Medicom X-Men that I am pretty proud of. They are still works in progress so please let me know what you think and be gentle.

Here is an unfinished Iceman and I'm hoping to also mold this head from the Beast bust and make a figure as well.

The Colossus is also still unfinished. Anybody have any ideas to throw my way?

Is the head a modified Brad Pitt from se7en ?

Yes it is. I still have yet to paint it because I need to dremel it down smooth a bit. I saw it on eBay and thought I could modify it enough to make it look like Shawn A___on.

Looks good, for your Colossus you can try Marvel Studios 12'' X2 Wolverine uniform. I have on in the making and that's what I'm using.

But seriously is that the rotocast head from the X2 figure?

Yes. The cyclops is the rotocast figure and the nightcrawler as well. Just used the heads. I need to tighten up the paint job on cyclops but I think I did pretty decent in nightcrawler. I just used a flat cobalt blue and it turned out pretty cool. The costume s I just painted. It was painstaking but I got most of the yellow on the medicom wolverines not to show. Obviously with a flash its a little more apparent.
Ithoughr about the marvel studios wolverine but all the picks I've seen of him out of the box the uniform looks wack. I noticed the piping was stitched and void still lend itself to be painted. Post a pic of your work in progress when you have some. I saw a couple on eBay for cheap but I think they all sold.

I really want to do storm and Jean but have not found decent actors to do them. I thought about the sideshow Jinx for storm but the face looks jacked up in the pictures. The Narbie Jinx has a better likeness than that. As far as Jean goes I'm still looking.

Thanks guys I appreciate your opinions. Is the marvel studios wolverine costume bigger than the medicom? I have the MS Dare Devil with the Ben Afflek likeness. Is wolverine the same height? Are all the Marvel Studios figs the same scale?

Yes the MS Wolverine is the same scale as DD. I figure if you soak the suit in water before you put it on a 13'' DC body it should sqeeze on ok. I haven't tried it yet so good luck.
