Night Crawler is bad ass! I love it. Is that an Icons head as well or did you use something else?

Here are my first pics of Storm. I tried painting the hair with a paint pen but it didnt work. I might try to airbrush it and see what happens. The suit turned out pretty good but I need to even out the lines.

Here are a couple better shots with the hair painted. It turned out better than I thought. When I painted the hair it got stuck in the air position. Now it looks like she is using wind so not bad.

Here is an update on my custom colossus. DC Direct superman returns body and head. Marvel Studios Movie Wolverine outfit. Still not complete but so far so good. Just a couple shots and to show how much bigger he is compared to hot toys spider man and my custom 16 inch Hulk.

Update on this project. Using the Marvel Icons Nightcrawler head, hands, feet, and the Toy BIZ tail for my new versions of these customs. The Toys Era Laser Eye works great for most all these characters.

Painting Nightcrawler's tubing red?

Also, with Toys Era releasing a Deadpool Colossus that's actually to scale, I doubt these will fit him unfortunately. Maybe we can commission a custom outfit for him down the road?

I thought about painting it red but he looks more stealthy with the blue since it matches his skin color I think I may leave it for now. Finding the right red will be tricky. Besides. He never actually appeared in that suit in X2 or at all in X3 so it's open for many interpretations.

I'm making some enquiries about customised uniforms for the ladies and the non-standard males. They are quite expensive at $350.00 US but I figured in for a penny... plus I am making enquiries about the buckles and badges that will need to go with them. I will need to send off the Colossus figure to get any uniform measured to fit.

I was wondering if the Emelia Clarke GOT figure would make a good base for Shadowcat. There are some facial similarities to Ellen Page as a placeholder, with some darker hair and a repaint, and the description of the figure is 26CM tall, which is short for an adult?

I would just wait for CGL Storm. Might be awhile, but that price is making me patient lol

I think it's Figuremasters, but that project was teased once about a year ago and Professor X is not even out yet. With the AoA version out far sooner, who knows how long X3 Storm will be on the back burner? Plus unpicking the cape could be a pain. It's definitely cheaper to buy spare Cyclops figures than to order up a standard male uniform from scratch but even so, Colossus, Rogue and Kitty would be non-standard uniforms, as would non canon uniforms for characters like Havok or Banshee (I think Colm Meaney would make a great 'present day' Banshee alongside Kelsey Grammar's Beast, also the Jared Padalecki figure for Supernatural could make a passable Lucas Till Havok with a bit of a blond repaint...).

Fortunately I'm too broke to go completely nuts. I'm hopeful that a standard Iceman could be on the cards, but an icy version is a good shout for a custom. If Killjoys develops a following of its own, we could have very plausible Iceman and Peter Rasputin heads right there.

The Brotherhood of Mutant is looking a bit brotherless at the moment though...

Update. Here are a few more since I got my fourth one today. Finished Iceman and repainted Nightcrawler. Next is angel.
