These are actually really easy head swaps. With a little modification and changing the ankle heights for various characters you get some pretty cool results. Obviously not perfect or finished but you get the general idea. Anybody else have custom xmen they'd like to share?
Painted the iceman head white but I'm not liking it. I may mold and cast it out of clear resin for the Ice effect as well as a regular skin toned face for a quick change.
Famke Jansen was in a Bond Film, Golden-Eye I believe. If you can alter her hair, then the head sculpt would be a decent Jean Grey. In fact that is one of my summer projects.
Wow. Looking good. What suit is that you're thinking about using for storm? Can't put my finger on it, though the light saber should be a dead giveaway
It's actually a blue black widow jumpsuit dyed black that someone up here used for a custom Jaina Solo. I just photoshoped the storm head onto the body. Forgot to remove the lightsaber. Lol.
Yes. Just bought 4 wolverines. Cyclops was first when I found the rotocast 12". I was going to use the hands but they are a little too big so I just kept the wolverine hands and took out the claws. By the way if anyone needs a set of wolverine gloved claw hands let me know. I have three heads and two sets of claw hands left.
Nightcrawler was next. Again the Rotocast figure from X2. The hands for nightcrawler were HUGE so I just cut the wolverine fingers out and it seems to work pretty well. My plan was to use the hands and feet but they were just not the right scale. Plus he was wearing regular shoes in the beginning of the movie when he attacked the president so I just figured the wolverine boots would be fine.
Last but not least and still not finished is Bobby "Iceman" Drake. I used a Brad Pitt head from se7en. Shaved down the chin nose and lips. I have since painted it white to get the iced look but it needs something else. I'll post pics when I can.
If i can give you some advies here's what I did with my boddy sculpt.
First i painted i silver blue then give it some white drybrushing on it.
Then applied a texturised paint and added some fake snow to give it that frosty look.
and for NC you can use the marvel legend icons hands and feet
