haha well....the controls stay that way throughout the series. Even RE4 technically has the same controls only difference is the camera changes and you have more control over aiming, and Not counting outbreak 2's aiming while moving, RE5 is the first game to include strafing as an option. But yes they add the quick turn in RE3 Nemesis and it stays for the remainder of the series.

I sure I hope I get the hang of it soon then. Its really the only thing that has really bugged me. But I'm sure its just because we've been spoiled by better controls and camera angles, etc. with newer games. I'll get through them eventually, even if I have to kill Jill, Chris, Leon, and Claire a thousand times! :lol

I have a love/hate relation with the old camera angles. I love the voyeristic, sombody's watching me feel of the old cameras but I hate not being able to see around corners and running into zombies.

Also if you thing the dogs suck, wait till you meet the Hunter's. Also just remeber you don't have to kill everything, when ever possible try to run around your enemies to conserve ammo. Trust me you'll need it later on. When I first played I made the mistake and killed everything that moved and made the later parts of the game a pain. Kill zombies and dogs with the hand gun, conserve shotgun shells for larger enemies like Hunter's, Chimerra's etc and grenades and magnum rounds for bosses like Tyrant.

Ammo management is one of the most crucial aspects of the game. Only kill an enemy if you have absolutely no way of avoiding it. (or if it's a Hunter, Chimera, or Licker. Terminate those with extreme prejudice.) Your regular run of the mill zombie can almost always be dodged around.

Yeah, I have been saving the shotgun. Just using the pistol for now. Until I get a hang of the controls even the zombies are a threat to me right now :lol

Jill:Barry, where have you BEEN?

I laugh at that line everytime, It sounds like she says "BEAN"

and the whole bit where Barry gives Jill the lockpick

Barry: Jill, I found something. (Hands her the lockpick) Maybe you, the master of unlocking, can use it. :rotfl
