Hello all!

Thought I would share this one with you. I've wanted for years to make a Roland figure and finally made myself sit down and do it! When i saw the Headplay Clint Eastwood head, I knew I had to use it for my figure. I've been working on various accessories including a water bag, satchel and bedroll. I am currently awaiting the Roland rig from Stevo's toys and then he will be complete and I will post more pics! Hope everyone like him so far!

Justin

PS. I know that Javier Bardem is supposed to play him in the upcoming films, but I've always pictured a clint-like character.

Looks great. I think everybody who's read the Dark Tower sees Clint in their mind's eye.

I've seen a few Roland customs over the years, and I'm surprised no one ever does him with the missing fingers.

I've got two alternate hands but I'm having trouble uploading the pics. I've got a bloody mangled one to match The Drawing of the Three and a healed one for the rest of the books. I will post pics soon.

More updates coming soon! I'm working on the jawbone he removes from the Man in Black at the end of The Gunslinger and the pocketwatch from the last book The Dark Tower.

Nice work. I've thought about making Roland a time or two.

I do think that Eastwood head is a bit old for Roland though. Hugh Jackman, Josh Holloway or Karl Urban would be my choice.

May have to get Evilface to make me a custom decal for Roland! Hint. Hint

Thanks to all for the kind words! I'm having fun working on him
