Judgement aside on the movie, I really liked the look of the future resistance soldiers and decided to take a shot at kit bashing one. So here is my future soldier. One of John Connor's trusted lieutenant's he is Perry, Marcus DX274059. His Zero Endoskeleton Response Team (ZERT) speaks for itself in name of what their mission is. His unit is the second most important team in the resistance next to the TechCom unit. Lt Perry's unit is the hammer that carries out the most intense operations that John Connor comes up with.

Perry's unit was Kyle Reese's first unit and hand picked by John Connor himself. Connor knew that to get Kyle ready for the role he will play in future or past events depending upon your point of view he would need to be battle hardened. Perry's unit is the perfect place for that. No other unit has stormed my camps, destroyed more of Skynet's assets, or freed more prisoners.

the photos are too small. can you post them in their original size?

Yes it is, it was the only sculpt I had that resembled a soldier look. I think it works pretty good with the outfit.

is this what resistance looks like in new movie?
so, same as in salvation, their future is bright and filled with equipment. pure disneyland for soldiers.
no dirty torn clothes from constant crawling among ruins, no ancient, cancelled military uniforms with artificially added warm parts to survive through nuclear winter, no coughing from ashes etc.
and why would they even need that body armor? oh yes, i forgot, those non-cameron resistance fighters march proudly, like an ancient rome army, with heads up over crashed skulls of weak, non-effective terminators, not crawling and hiding from overwhelming machine forces, being rats among stones.

This is based off the costumes from Terminator Genisys future soldiers. How realistic, functional or worn it should be was not the main drive. More so a recreation of what was shown in the movie. Why chest armor, cause they had it in the movie, why an American flag on the arm, cause they had it on their arm in the movie. Is a theme starting to emerge here possibly?

my comment was about designs that T3-4-5 used: unrealistic and toyish. and my wonder was because i didn't see the movie yet and thought that at least in their third attempt they fixed that bug.
i am sorry if it seemed like i was talking about your custom, it was completely about the movie design, as you said it's a good representation of the movie one. like i hate AVP predaturds suits as they are and how they level down everything designed about original predators, but not the toys based of them.
your custom is just my first look at T5 soldiers design, thus you've read my first shock, sorry for that.
now that you say they had a flag on their uniform, i see it moves T5 even closer to T3 and more far away from original terminator where there were no nations for the first time in modern human history - the very idea of skynet uniting humans, thus fulfilling its original mission to stop wars, seems forever lost with those kids summer blockbusters )

No problem P.

I can totally understand what you mean by the confusion of the future soldiers representation not being realistic in the movies. Even with Genisys it is true. The urban camo, who's making it so everyone has the same uniform? They still manage to have textile mills LOL. The body armor, against a plasma rifle? Um, kinda seems useless. Honestly the only thing I see in the future soldiers that made sense is the spec ops radios that hug the neck and transmit from the throat rather than the mouth for quite comm's and the knee pads. In a post apocalyptic world full of ruin and rubble, I'd want some sort of knee pads too for all the kneeling and crouching that would be required to maintain stealth.
