Thanks guys! If I'm ever commissioned to do another one, I'll be sure to take lots of how-to pictures.
Oddly enough, with all of the figures I've done for myself, adding articulation has only been asked for in a commission once. I was commissioned to do an EpII Yoda. I used G.I. Joe parts for that one.
I think thus far, I've added articulation for a Gammy, Yoda (2X), Jabba, and good old Watto. It's a lot of fun, and I recommend it to any customizer brave enough to risk utterly destroying their work. When Medi-Yoda here was lying in pieces on my desk, I did get that terrible feeling that I had just made a $70 mistake...
Thanks, guys! Sid's eyes are brighter than most Sith eyes because for most of his scenes, they're computer generated. Ian had some trouble with the contact lenses.
I'm fitting together the pieces for my Sith Lightening. I'm stoked to see it all finished. I know a lot of us think the lightening makes it look too toyish, but I really feel it's an integral part of his character and really looks no more toyish than the ignited lightsabers. So, here's some test shots. What do you think?
I thought this was a really evocative image of my favorite Sith!!
