Re: CUSTOMIZINGS: Arnie, Indy, yada yada

Thanks guys! Some motivating words in your posts :) I too really want to see these printed so aiming to make more time for my sculpts.

im8041 : Just for you I will try to post a Drake pic tonight ;)

Re: CUSTOMIZINGS: Arnie, Indy, yada yada

I really like what you're doing, but, folk still aren't getting that this is you showing what you can do and not an interest thread. Mind you, most of us wish these were commercially available.

Re: CUSTOMIZINGS: Arnie, Indy, yada yada

Latest Drake. Still need to do that hair!

Re: CUSTOMIZINGS: Arnie, Indy, yada yada

Looks good, however he has a scar on the left temple of the forehead. Btw are you having any trouble with the hair? Just wondering.

Re: CUSTOMIZINGS: Arnie, Indy, yada yada

Looks great, I wonder, could this year see an Uncharted movie get made, and who would play Nathan....

Right... Thanks to Seth Rogen apparently it's just another Indiana Jones... YET YET... Chris Pratt denied the role and now 2 years later we hear rumors of Chris Pratt as Indy. So... if Disney gets to reboot I think it would challenge them if Sony releases Uncharted. Old Explorer vs Modern Explorer.

Re: CUSTOMIZINGS: Arnie, Indy, yada yada

Could do, Joel Edgerton springs to mind, not quite the video game look I grant you, but he has that rugged look that might suit him. Mind you, they would probably go for him alongside Ellen Page for The Last of Us.

Re: CUSTOMIZINGS: Arnie, Indy, yada yada

Cheers guys, still need to tweak the likeness a bit more ;)

Interesting! Will look into that. No trouble with hair, just time consuming part ;)

I hope they don't make a Drake movie. I can only see a young Nathan Fillion in the role. Thank god Paul Greengrass pulled out of making his bad idea of a movie with Mark Wallberg as Drake and Joe Pesci and Bob Deniro as his uncles?! :cuckoo:

Re: CUSTOMIZINGS: Arnie, Indy, yada yada

One more Drake shot now with added scar. You can see a bit more 'Fillion' from this angle.

Idk... I see the new UNC4 drake in the likeness tbh than this or UNCDF.

Re: CUSTOMIZINGS: Arnie, Indy, yada yada

You are correct! Uncharted 4 was the main ref used ;) Though will probably shape the hair more like UDF.

Re: CUSTOMIZINGS: Arnie, Indy, yada yada

I like the new U4 Drake, looking like a real person.

Re: <BEASTMASTER> CUSTOMIZINGS: Indy • Solo • Drake • Bond etc.‏

I used 0.8mm leather. I had to get the thickness trimmed down from 1.5mm. Here is a link to the trimmers: Leather Thinning Service | By K. Baggs Trimming

Thanks Road of Sky! :)

Ok here are a few Drake bits I've been gathering.

Jeans are Crazy Owners Vintage Denim Blue. Need to be weathered so if anyone has any jeans weathering advice let me know. Right now I'm just thinking sandpaper.

I've studied Drakes shoes and they look like Converse. I got these 3A figure converse which have a really nice shape.

For the ring necklace I cut some aluminium tube. It actually fits perfectly on the ttm finger. The cord is very finely cut leather.

can you tell me and show me how to make that ring? pleeeaasee hehehe

Re: CUSTOMIZINGS: Printz

SigitoSutasmano: I pretty much just cut a piece of tubing and sanded down :D the fine cord was the hardest part as it would break easily, especially whilst tying a knot.

I thought I needed to post something so here are some models about to go to print. The Bond watch has had to go through about 7 revisions as it's really hard to get a good fit with the strap. See if you can recognize some other things ;)
